      What about chinese singers and singer groups? I really like Yaorenmao, SING Girls and Xieanran? Are they supported by CCP? They seem ok but after I started watching your videos I started questioning what the heck are these chinese girls doing on youtube? and how? Are they being funded by the CCP? They must be because they have some amazing videos with high quality production that a "normal" singer "from the internet" would not have access to it. Have you investigated them? Is there anything suspicious about them?

    Getting money out of China, this just happened to me. I have a house in Silicon Valley that is on the market, about $4M. One potential buyer asked for disclosures and was very interested in buying this house, but then suddenly backed out saying they still needed to get the money out of China. Yeah, they actually told my realtor that. This is verification, to me, that at least part of what laowhy is saying is true. Chinese people have a history of buying houses in that town, often leaving them vacant. They just wanted to park their money outside China. It has been going on for years and has inflated housing prices.

    When I was young 10 years old and grew up in a abusive household my father was very brutal Vietnamese refugees moved into the neighborhood from the Vietnam War. Well these guys start teaching me how to defend myself cuz they saw what I was going through. I got interested in Asian culture at that point started studying everything Asia and China and the people of Asia have been through so much and all by their governments their leaders. I mean millions of them slaughtered. So I just have always kept an eye on what's going on and it's been very sympathetic to the people of that part of the world because they endure through and push through it all but they are treated so poorly.

    I still share that video with people in my American and international circles when it’s appropriate, but it might be time for an update because of all the insane current events related to china since it’s release!

      Great quote, regulating people into criminality is a basic authoritarian principle. Communists desire complete control over everything they don't already have control over. Ayn Rand was a very wise woman and we are witnessing what she predicted in Atlas Shrugged with the Rise of the Looters and the Death of Competency. The way people in positions of power use the word "Equity" in regards to opportunity is literally the Death of Competency. I prefer people who are good at something instead of people put into position because of how they identify or what DNA they have. If you need brain surgery you better hope your surgeon wasn't a diversity hire. Just saying.

      @slidenapps Рік тому +2

    • @FragmentedLore
      @FragmentedLore Рік тому

      @@slidenapps the label of criminal is different than the act of criminality. I get what you're saying but I think there is a disconnect. If you for instance decriminalize flying cars the people flying the once illegal flying car now aren't criminals. So your statement is fundamentally flawed. You should use a specific example rather than the wide brush of "decriminalization". Furthermore your logic only really applies if you are decriminalizing temporarily and your ultimate goal is regulating after people get used to less regulations. Lolling people into a false sense of comfort.

Along the way, subsequent regimes have added their own styles and flavors.

    Hey Laowhy86, idk if you have tiktok but there is a strange phenomenon I've noticed on there of people livestreaming (out of China, I believe) selling obviously fake LCD Key Fobs for cars. They clearly take advantage of people who don't know each car and key fob needs to have a code that makes them compatible with eachother. They basically sell paperweights and their chat is always full of people asking where their order is. Just another sign of it being a scam... So people may not even be receiving the item after paying and the said item is most likely fake. Thought it would be an interesting subject for a video and would love to hear your opinion on it.

      Yes, but you are missing a few details.
      It should also be proven that you
      a) did deliberate treasonous/malicious acts
      b) caused damage.
      And there will be a judge looking over those aspects.
      In China, neither of these is necessary. In fact if they want you nothing is necessary, they just pick you up and disappear you.
      So one the US side there is a prison sentence and/or fine for using these apps for malicious purpose and causing damge and subject to judiciary review.
      On the Chinese side there prison sentence for using such apps.
      See the difference?

    One problem: *crypto "currency" is **_not_** money.* One close equivalent to crypto is the green stamps that grocery stores in the US used to print, and then hand over when you had bought a certain amount of this or that product. The stores printed the stamps, just like the crypto "miners" are making up the non-existent/crypto "coins."

      Crypto currencies are currencies as long as people are willing to accept them as payment for goods and services. That's what a "currency" is. Given how few transactions are conducted using crypto you could argue they aren't currencies because they don't meet that criteria, but what you're saying is true of all currencies.
