I really like the time shifting in this one while on the bike, great views. There's so much of Southern China that I haven't seen, and to go right through to Vietnam is a path uncommonly traveled. Great montage and music in this one too, super into it.

7:35 how did you know this guy would fix your bike, didn't see any signs.
Great to see you cross the pacific then move into your next leg of your journey.

Dolce is getting revamped in Taiwan in preparation for a Northwest passage sail. I won't be on her. Who knows about the Atlantic!

After that derailleur repair I'm curious about your bike setup. What kind of drivetrain are you running? Was it compatible with available parts? Are 700c wheels rare in rural asian areas?

In SE Asia it's not too hard to find good bike shops. Rural Areas I'm not so sure about. I'm running a shimano something and it hasn't been an issue. India is a bit more tricky. Generally you can always make due in some way.

Hi, great videos. So, what happened to Dave? Did he solo sail back to Hawaii?

Very nice! I like the slo-mo style of filming!
Did you carry a tent or did you always sleep in hotels?

Thanks! For this quick leg in China I stayed in Hotels. I had a mosquito net and sleeping pad if I needed to sleep outside. All you need in SE Asia!

My dad taught me. Then I learned by doing and reading.
