The name of this song comes from the only constant in every rencarnation its the thing that makes link special from the other one the courage is what makes link stand against a 2 meter skeleton or someone that doubles his strength thats why link wins because he has the courage to step to save everyone even if he is scared to rember courage is to have control of what you are afraid of
Link in this game truly has the full power of the triforce even if he doesn’t really have it. He is wise enough to do those puzzles. He has power, being able to kill a giant dragon, a demon, anything, and he has the courage to keep pushing on, to put himself head to head with anything in his way, to save not only his friends, not even just his world, but someone else’s. After he gets rid of the darkness, he could just quit, but he doesn’t, because he is courageous.
This shit hits different after not hearing it for years. I want this to play at my funeral. Edit: also, when that flute starts, you know you bouta feel some shit
You just spoke for me. I wasn't even looking for the song, I was listening to a youtube playlist to study, and when that flute started I was inmediatly shocked, so much that I stared at the infinite and forgot everything I was doing. I felt as if one beautiful part of the past I had forgotten just appeared in front of me, and I couldn't believe it. Of course, tears eventually started to fell off.
Can we just agree that this is what makes Zelda what it is.. the music in the whole Zelda series gives me the chills everytime... this one here almost makes me shed a tear.. imagine watching the sun setting down with the love of your life by your side
We can agree. And I’m pretty sure I did cry when I played through the game, the aesthetics of the dawn/dusk orange lighting after we know Colin’s safe after sacrificing himself 🥺
i am kinda late to the old zelda games, rn i'm playing this game. When Link saved Colin and this music started playing i got goosebumps and it didn't feel like a normal game moment, it was so unique.
You’re making a great decision playing this game. It’s my favorite game ever. Chills every time with this music and most of the other songs too. More importantly, it’s so great to see newer Zelda fans taking an interest in the old games! I’ve always felt like this game has never gotten and still doesn’t get enough attention. Wind Waker is great too!!
"What is "courage"? Courage is looking one own's fear directly in the eyes and telling it that it has no dominion over you, that is courage!" -William Zeppeli
That’s so cool! I suffer from bad anxiety and part of why I love Zelda so much is bc link makes me want to have courage :) I know you’re strong you can do this!
Definitely my favorite song/music from all of The Legend Of Zelda games. I think the title "Courage" best describes Link in one word, and in the beautiful harmonic sound of the music you can also feel the underlying love between Link and Zelda that is never actually spoken of in any of the games, but what anyone that has ever played any game in the Zelda series knows is the driving force for Links courage....his undying love for Princess Zelda. It's one of the most beautiful love stories of all time in my opinion, and this song exemplifies that love between them more than any other to me. Zeldas Lullaby is a close second.
OMGOSH that so freaking relatable. I love all Zelda music but this might be my legit fave. I’ll listen to a Zelda music playlist and keep rewinding it to this song lol. It really does help with school work. 🥲✨
There was a girl that I met at work, I liked her but didn’t have the guts. This beautiful melody played in my head every time I seen her, she moved away sadly.
I first discovered Zelda with Twilight Princess. I'm not that old, only 17, but I had old things growing up. Played Smash Bros Brawl on my Wii that I shared with my siblings, Mario Kart, Super Mario Bros, all of it. Never played Zelda tho. Parents didn't like it, but it always interested me from the moment I saw Link and Zelda in Brawl. A few years later I went down the Zelda rabbit hole and Twilight Princess was my first. Then Breath of the Wild came out and it was everything I thought to be missing in Twilight. Thus sparked my love for the Zelda universe. Botw is my favorite game so far, I love the story and art style, but I absolutely love the story of Twilight, Skyward Sword, and the Time Saga. All of it. I didn't realized I'd heard this before until it randomly played in a relaxing playlist and sparked nostalgia like never before. Suddenly I remembered sitting on my cousins bed, looking at the demo of Twilight with my little brother who was, like, 6 at the time. Music like this makes appreciate the little things. Brings it back to the root of whay Zeldas about. I like to think of this as Links theme. It's March 6'th, 2023, and I'm looking forward to TotK. Thank you Nintendo 😊. Thank you for our childhoods
I believe this song has a deeper meaning. I take inspiration from Colin. Young and reckless as he may be, he just wants to be brave for the people he loves. And to have witnessed Link come through these remarkable tasks. Link is seen as an Elder from Colin’s eyes. As for the player, we live through Link, BUT, we want nothing more than to be as courageous as those we respect the most… Who inspires you? Who will you be Brave for.
This was my first Zelda game I was born in 2011 and when I was about 4 years old, so 2015 I got to play this game and I eh it had so much peace and tranquility just, I love this game to me it's the best Zelda game and as a Huuuuuuuuuuuuuge Zelda fan I aprecciate you doing this extended version of Courage from Twilight Princess.
I dont kow about anybody else but i really feel like this could be the you know ‘link theme song’ if you think about it in my opinion it really fits all of them in a way and it just warms my heart, also with the songs connection with farore it would only make sense
Across the years, three people are forced into a loop of killing each other. They can never escape. There is no constant between the heroes, they aren't even related. One thing remains across countless generations: the hero's courage. It's the only thing that anyone can rely on.
This is so calming; it really helps me sleep after a hard day! Thank you for making this. 💗 And as a HUGE Zelda fan, this just warms my heart to listen to. Twilight Princess was my first Zelda game I got to play since I was born in 2007. 💚💚💚
@@Maplehives Aww, that's great to hear that someone can relate. It's crazy to thing that a video game can bring out so many great things in people. I am overjoyed to have been pushed by my dad into playing the game!! lol.

This was also my first Zelda game! I played with my mum and brother and played Skyward Sword after, which was also great. I want to play it again on switch. These two games combined have the best songs.
Zelda is the darkness in which that is the light of the darkness of fragments of light traces of dark that which is the embodiment of who Zelda is from a dark light perspective. And Link is the very "link" to that darkness/ light ratio and I just hope to God you can all understand that and accept your fate at the feet of his surpremacy.
The music just hasn't hit the same even as far back as Skyward Sword. Something about the music in the first 4 mainline 3d Zeldas just forces your brain into a state of synesthesia that no other game could do
Courage to give it your all at your new job even if they could fire you any day. Courage to practice hard for extra hours even if coach doesn’t let you play. Courage to forgive when it still hurts. Courage to love when it may not be returned. Courage to move forward to uncomfortable and unknown land. Courage to withhold pleasure in favor of strength even if it might not pay off. Courage to fight for what’s right even if you could lose it all
Sorry I never answered, but you can use it. I don't have any ownership over any of this music, and half the uploads I didn't even make myself. Feel free to use whatever you want!

The story is so sad and yet, so warm. Just a really hard life cycle to accept. Basically torture. Never gets to fully enjoy life.

Was it the campfire one? That's where I rediscovered it too 😊
Play Twilight princess its really good.
That's how I felt about "You Can Be a Hero" from My Hero Academia.
Twilight Princess is just something else...
It was the peak of the series together with OoT. Since then the series went downhill and hit rock bottom lately.
