  • Boiling lava moves across Nátthagi valley. Filmed by my wife last night while I was working. She went to the Volcano alone to document all this. Camera: Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. I have doubled the audio volume and the wind noise with that just to hear the mesmerizing sounds those boiling lava masses produce.

    The bubbling effect is probably caused by the lava moving over moist soil quickly. When it moves slowly, the moisture in the soil will turn to steam at the leading edge. When it moves quickly, the steam is overtaken and must punch up through the lava to escape. Your channel is amazing! I’ve been watching daily since before the eruption.

    This popping lava action is caused by the moisture within the ground being converted to steam. This action is the same principles as with Geysers, but instead of ejection of super heated water like a geyser. The lava is tossed into the air as this hot lava is above the source of the steam instead of water as in a geysers eruption. So obviously there's a considerable amount of ground water near the surface in this one area. So this would be an ideal spot to locate a water well with the ground saturated with water as indicated by this popping lava

    • @wutntarnation
      @wutntarnation 3 роки тому +1

      The ground could be saturated with water for any number of reasons, rain or snow melt water, a bog, so on. I doubt that a source of deep water would boil because of surgace water.

    Thank you Nina!! It's a relief that Roman can keep working because he can rely on you to produce excellent footage. I look after a 4 year old girl after school on Wednesdays. The first thing she wants is to look at the volcano footage. Just seeing all the different ways the volcano behaves, and the different ways the lava flows, gives us an enormous amount of information.
    I am basically ignorant about volcanoes, but it seems to my uneducated mind that this wonderful variety of videos will improve our understanding a lot. I hope someone puts together a documentary about this amazing volcano. They should use your work.

    WOOWOOW!!! That is truly amazing guys!!! The amount of lava now spilling over the crater, is like water flowing over Niagara Falls!!! It’s seems to be a lot hotter & liquified than ever!!! This is simply amazing!!! 🌋💥🔥

    No matter how many times I watch your video I am just amazed at the multiple ways this lava continues itself. Such as being this hot and being such a far distance from the actual volcano. Thanks to you for continuing to provide me with a front row seat.

    Thank you for all these great videos. I live in Oregon, USA, where we have many landscapes formed in similar ways. Seeing this in real-time shows the awesome power of the earth and helps me explain to my daughter why our landscapes in Central Oregon look the way they do. Keep up the great work.

    Thank you. I have never seen lava popping into the air like that. I like it that you have not speeded it up to make it more exciting - and unnatural. I do wish people would not get so close.

    Thank You Nina for this incredible footage. The golden hot surface lava crumbling looks amazing. Nice to see people respecting the lava. Smoke arising from cracks in the crust should be a warning to 'idiot lava walkers' but I doubt it will be. You and your husband are great! Stay safe! 🙏🙏

    When NinaNX showed us this crazy lava, I wanted Oreos. Now watching your video of same creeping lava, I want some barbecue... ribs, wings, everything barbecued. Has this turned into a food vlog, or am I just hungry... again?! 😉 (Never got the Oreo. Most likely will not have available lava to cook on, so there goes the BBQ, too!) ... Thanks, Roman (& Nina!)👏🤩✌️🇮🇸❤️🇺🇸
