this was in their first three albums without Sophia. Sophia didnt join the band till 2010. This band has been around since 2001. Members keep leaving and get replaced. Their 4th album they got a new Singer, but it was not Sophia yet, it was Sadew(lead singer who always had Dreadlocks). Sadew left the band before Sophia joined. Sophia has now left the band recently as of 2013. She has been replaced by a new Girl named Kiki.

@nalinammessiahh it's because the music is powerful and moves you. some people think that people listen to metal cause it makes them angry or depressed, for me it's the complete opposite it calms me down.
@DrRibbones I sterted writing their guestbook when they had released first demo and knowing them since and I have had met them twice at live in Japan. Been in contact with some members few times a year.
@nalinammessiahh I don't think i am cool because i listen to this type of music, and i don't listen to it because i think it WILL make me cool, i listen to it because i like it, the fast pace, and heavy emotion of this genre is what makes this addicting to me, throw in some melodic in there, and your golden. I appreciate your opinion, and i understand it, and a lot of non trolls would as well, so i would only ask that while you hold your own likes and style, have respect for ours too.
on their myspace they have emo as a genre, im not sure where they thought they sounded like fallout boy or my chemical romance but whatever, these guys mix electronic and metal exactly right, never heard a better blend of genres
@martyrianblood At least hes not giving up drumming. Hes actually one of my idols. I play alot of BSC and I just love Vio's playing style. Plus the tattoos on his face are really awesome.

@Goutetsu13 well, if you look closely at the guy, he's wearing Corpse Paint with long dark brown hair covering his face, and the vocals sound like that of the black metal vocals which are shrieks and stuff. Their sound in this song is also pretty heavy, too.
Wrong, In Flames was one of those who created Gothenburg Metal, but the first band called Gothenburg Metal was At The Gates. They were first with the sound, then came Dark Tranquillity with their record Skydancer (wich anders fridén sings on) and then came In Flames with Lunar Strain (wich mikael stanne of Dark Tranquillity sings on)
@SdisticDrummer Ryo was original singer/bassplayer but then they recruited SadeW for last album. The latest official news is that SadeW has just left the band. Also Violator has left the band which is realy big (-_-) for me. And 'Ryu wrote on his blog that new singer might e suprise for many. Sad but also interesting news. Japanese fans seems to know the new drummer already.
I don't care so much genres/labels since most bands sounds their own at least ltittle and takes influences everywhere they go. BSC listened lot of that "real" melodic death metal in their demo era so this is how thay approached it. And there is the important word Japanese there ^_^.
