Ive just adopted another piggy from pets at home to join our 2 boys that we allready have, he was on his own and has a slight head tilt nothering wrong with him hes only 3months old hes called pickle 😃

This was so heartwarming! The beginning of the video with Pedro "baywatch running" and you picking up that precious Lyra were so adorale! Your piggies are much more well-behaved than mine were. LOL The piggy Dominik I mentioned basically lived free-roam. He had a house, but he would launch himself out of his house onto the carpet in the living room and would sun himself by the sliding door and would also sleep behind a lil tv I had on the floor or behind the couch. He did all his poops behind the couch in one place! I would find him everyday when I would come home from work. He never strayed from the living room though. So glad to see Lyra so active and to see Pedro eating heartily!
Of course Lyra is well loved! Every intelligent hooman knows that.

How nice for the piggies, to have this adventure for many hours. Yes, tsk tsk, a wee disadvantage : ( wee, double meaning!) : a bit of urine was left under the “ big hidey” (the “poof” furniture) .
I just found your channel! I love it. My girls and I just got our guinea pig Cinnamon. I know he should have a friend...but he kinda does. He loves to play with my girls and cuddles with too. He loves to sit next to me and we eat our meals together.
I also have 3 cats. And 2 of them are cool around him. The other just watches him, doesn't do anything
Ahhh. I love Piggies. I haven’t had pigs since I was 21? 22? (I’m 36 now… so… Lyra vibes) lol I miss them so much tho. The wheeks hearing plastic bags and the fridge opening… I do have rabbits now tho so they do plenty of food begging lol (and a hangry squirrel 🐿️) 😝
While I was hand washing my fleece my 2 boys were suppose to be out free roaming. Like they are every day. But no. They were at my feet begging for pea flakes. 😂😁love your videos. You truly truly care 💕🌟

I'd be to scared too. I only let one out at a time to roam and supervised. I don't trust my Husky girl, my boy is scared of the girls. It's so funny. Though he lets them snuggle with him.

I love letting my guys free roam. Had a ramp from the cage so they could come and go but Mr Lomu has developed joint issues so needs a lift up home.

My babies always loved floor time. It's good for pigs to run around in as large a space as possible. Outdoors can be dangerous because of so many predators for G. Pigs, even though they love walking around in "fast food" (grass). Make SURE you "pig-proof" your room before putting your friends loose-sofas and things "Piggies can't get under or behind" they CAN!

I would love to do that with my guinea pigs but they get scared very easily as they are new . We bought them about 3-4 weeks ago so I will definitely try this when they are much more settled and comfortable with us :))

My guys the live in the living room, they have their C&C Cage, but the cage is open 24/7. I made for them a soft terrace with a tunel, blanckets, small soft houses etc... Like this they are free and can hide themselves in their special place when they want. At the beginning they tried to bite the chairs, but later they stoped to do that and now we trust them 100% when we are not at home. We just close the door of the living room, to avoid an access to other rooms and also all dangerous corners are coverd. I am happy that they can feel themselves free and safety 😃

Hi Katie, yeah you definitely can, I do have an older video on the channel as well as the fleece pads one, but yes it is the same method 😁. I made my own fleece liners 😊🥰

Hi I'm new here. I happen to have a question, my guinea pigs broke their last water bottle and they haven't drank from the bowl I gave them, so I got a new one but can't get more. Are they not drinking the water because it's in a new area or is it because they don't know, I'm worried their dehydrating because I haven't seen the water go down

hiii girl! soo i wanted to say that my 19th birthday was yesterday!! (04/22) so me and my bf went to petco and at first we were aiming for a ferret but they were out of the fur babies sadly, so we took a look around and decided it was between; lizard, gecko, mouse (idk why he suggested it lol), hamster, or guinea pig!
naturally i picked a hamster bc i owned one before and his name was hammy, he was the absolute SWEETEST, everyone says hamsters are mean but he fr was the nicest, even to strangers, he’d love the rubs and oos/ahhs he’d get🥺, i miss him every day!
we decided why not! guinea pig it is! so the employee said “i have four and love them, their bites do nibble /hurt a lil bit and could draw blood but this is just what i got from breaking two males up for trying to fight” and it wasn’t that horrible but it was a nasty bruise/scar of teeth marks! (also sadly he failed to mention about how it’s better for piggies to be in pairs but i don’t blame him getting caught up helping us pick a cage and we told him a piggy would be our first ever diff pet)
i instantly fell in love with this tri color piggy! black/white split head, white half body, caramel/light brown behind! she’s so gorgeous, she seemed to like me too bc she wasn’t crazy ab the employee or my bf holding her and tried to run back to my hands which i thought was really sweet😭mamas was $70 alone😳….worth it
so we grab a good starter cage and food brand the employee advised, checked out, got open, i held her in my arms/let her explore on my bed while my bf set the cage up, everything is set up and perfect!
been a few hours but we have definitely improved our bond, she almost fell asleep while laying on my side watching tik toks with me, she kept cuddling and snuggling and it was too adorbs 🥹
me and my bf were letting her roam around on the bed and it was so precious how she got spooked and lighting speed run back to my arm
we’re returning to petco tomorrow to buy her a little bestie, definitely getting another female cause my daughter would go insane over the babies😭 she loves our little piggy as well

and i’ll add, he was a good employee fr. as he was handing me the sweet baby i was adopting, he just heard the male piggies squabbling in the corner and was like “heyyy, cut that out” and moved them away from another and was like “sorry the males were bickering haha” and im really glad we decided to go with the piggy!
So I know they'll go back to litter box for poop but I read they just randomly pee and we've witnessed that when we've let ours out to run around. You're not worried about pee on your carpet? I'm afraid I won't find all the pee spots to clean up and it'll ruin the carpet.

Hi there, 2 by 3 just meets the minimum for two females, but it will feel a bit small for them, perhaps you can change your room layout or create a different shape cage to make it fit. Or look at upgrading in the future but giving them lots of floortime in the meantime 😊

I'm thinking of putting sandpaper down on the ramp for toenails. I'm worried about their pads and back of the hind legs. Usually if I'm worried about something, it's not a good idea. Your thoughts would be really appreciated. Their Auntie in Birmingham wants to borrow them to mow her lawn. Sure they would love that but it's a little too cold.
