Hi Pete; I added a comment to your "The authentic Spanish Garlic Chicken | Pollo al Ajillo" as I have been playing catch-up due to work overload etc. I welcomed the "Binge watch" opportunity. :)
This is spooky, Pete, I made this dish a few days ago, but my sepia came from the English Channel, and the potatoes from my garden in Somerset; however my dish did not have the green pepper ( I have some pepper plants in the greenhouse but no actual peppers as yet). It’s a great ingredient, and I think it’s better than calamari. As usual a great recipe and a great video. With luck and following wind I’ll be in Spain next week, hasta la vista !
Hi Pete, we are staying in place called Albir, up the coast from Alicante. It’s not a place that I would have chosen, but it’s a friend of friend’ s villa and it’s free. However my prejudice has proven to be wrong as there is a very good market! Bring on the next recipe as I stand a better chance of getting the ingredients.
I got rid of that one - too heavy... right now: 3 gas, two bbqs, a wood stove/heater thing with chimney (time to fire that up again), one portable electric.
Really enjoy your videos. Love my cooking and have a holiday home in salema in portugal. But i really enjoy cooking spanish food. Brings back lots of memories. Keep up the great work. Say hi to jess lol.
Love these vids. Little nuggets of escapism with real and simple recipes. Tell me Pete, why not a sprinkling of Italy too?
Just that bit farther from home, but sounds like an excellent idea for the future :)
Bless you for your kind comment!
What a beautiful stew! We love cuttlefish and all their brethren, so this is a win. Thank you for sharing another great recipe!
That San Juan shirt really shows your love for the local customs on Minorca❤
Amazing scenery, with a great looking dish to match.
Looks amazing
Looks appetizing
Love it. Thanks Pete.
Thanks for tuning in again :)

@@iwanttotelltheworld1564 Bless you for paying attention to my offerings! I'll head over to the chicken...
Pete, another great vid. We make something similar with squid - delicious! Best wishes from London
Interesting bottle for the red wine having no label, one can only conclude it is a bottle for life and refillable!
when 750ml just won't do...
750ml will never do when in Spain eating amazing food and seeing the beautiful scenery.

@@andrewharrison8975 Ah yes, I have cycled through there a couple of times. A bit "Brits abroad" but nice enough :) Happy cooking!!!
I hope you visit Altea. There's a restaurant right at the top with tremendous views.
Another excellent dish. Pete, just how many portable stoves do you have?

@@Petespans Storage in the motorhome must be tight now then. 😁
I look forward to seeing more great videos. Cheers
Squid is more common here so I suppose I can substitute
Turned out very well with squid. Got to let it cook down to that thick sauce.
Learning to substitute is a key to good home cooking.

Bless you for tuning in and for your encouraging comments. Gonna look up Salema...
