Fantastic video. That integration is incredible. I have Somfy automatic blinds in my conservatory and they automatically close at a certain time every day, but what would be useful is if they closed based on the temperature or humidity, which is where those SONOFF temp/humidity would come into their own.

Hi! I would like to be part of this conversation. I bought Innr GU10 smart lightbulbs. I don't have any bridges yet. I have two questions. First, do I need a bridge to connect it to the eWelink app? Second, if a do need a bridge, let's say Sonoff, is it compatible with the bridge and the app? Lastly, the bulbs have Zigbee 3.0.

I have an aqara sensor paired with a sonoff hub. I can see the green led acknowledge an on or off action from the switch on the sonoff hub, but in the sonoff app whilst it sees the aqara switch, it doesn't show anything, like for instance whether it's off or on. All I can do in ewelink is to rename it. I can create a scene in ewelink with the aqara for on of off, perform and action, but nothing happens. Creating the same scene with a sonoff switch does work. Any ideas?

I finally got the hub and temperature device working, it was a struggle and I had to do various steps and manual modes to get the hub installed. The temp device was easy. I went to sent up IFFFT and when I connect to eWelink I am prompted to join eWelink Pro for 9.99 per year. What is that all about? Did you have to join eWelink Pro? It seems a little daft considering I am a PRO account on IFFFT, meaning I am paying for that app already, now eWelink. Quite odd that nowhere does it mention a subscription.

Can the zigbee sensor be paired with other zigbee hubs, such as philips hue bridge or the echo plus?
And if the answer is positive could it possibly be used also with Ifttt, its just because i would like not to buy another bridge/hub.
Another question, does the magnet continues to work when its settled in another direction?
I mean, no only by its side, in front or so.
Can a routine be done such as once it continues to be opened after 3 min, for an example lit a light or whatever.

Hi man, just asking , can control the bulb light with 2 door sensors in the same time ?
Meaning, when one of them is saying that the window is open trigger bulb to go ON, then you close the window and bulb goes OFF, and after try with the second window sensor the same thing.
    Cheers!
    Update:
    - yes, is possible. to control with 2, 3 etc sensors in the same time, to open from each and every one and to close when all of them are closed / need to be created 3 rules
2 rules for each sensors to open the relay and 3rd rule : "when all the condition are met" perfom task "close the relay"
    - please help with the situation when I open one of the door sensor just for 30 sec and then close it back , to not perfom any action. meaning a delay in the action or something like that.

Firstly, the older black RF bridge will connect ANY 433 MHz device with sonoff (ewelink) app where as the ZB bridge will only connect ZB devices? Am I right?
Secondly, If I do not have any ZB devices, then does it make sense to buy 433 MHz RF bridge instead and buy cheaper door sensors, PIR sensors, humidity sensors etc and use them with Ewelink app? Thank once again.

In theory the RF bridge should connect to any 433Mhz device, but i found the functionality limited. Buy the Zigbee Bridge you'll get most more smart functionality. I found Sonoff generally limited in smart functionality tuya is better i personally use the zemismart hub with zigbee devices and it much better.

I am thinking of the joining the home automation bug, but don't want to do(yet) flashing & home assistant etc. Sonoff is at good cheap price wise but Tuya is much smarter in handling scenes. Then Sonoff took off its IFTTT(free) for a premium servce. Tuya might be the smarter choice.

Are the PIR and Door switches compatible with Google home ,I saw you tested Amazon's system but many of us use Google home . 100 meters
Its low power consumption limits transmission distances to 10-100 meters line-of-sight, depending on power output and environmental characteristics. Zigbee devices can transmit data over long distances by passing data through a mesh network of intermediate devices to reach more distant ones.

hello does the motion sensor work with Alexa to do different routines?
I have a zigbee bridge, but Gh and Amazon Alexa can't detect my motion sensor.

Based on itead website, motion sensor is not supported by GH & AA.

I can confirm that the motion sensor is detected by Alexa and works as a trigger for a routine, it works well, set up routines in Feb 2021 and they have worked fine for 6 weeks without any issues.

@@jayjenkins7014 hello. Sensor works without "bridge"?

    • @jayjenkins7014
      @jayjenkins7014 3 роки тому

@@JorgeAguilar-xm1rr Sorry I can not confirm that as my generation of Alexa's I have in my home do not support Zigbee. I now use four motion sensors throughout my house at the moment using the bridge connected via ewlink app. I can also confirm that the magnetic door switches also work as Alexa triggers and the temperature sensors are also detected and respond to Alexa customised actions. The only component that appears useless is the push button. I find the Sonoff Zigbee kit to be the cheapest solution for Alexa triggers on the market. All of the components are really compact and I have no signal drop outs (3 bedroom 1968 terraced house in the UK).
