The eye went slap over my vacation home in Grand Isle and I'm not sure what I will see when I get there next weekend. You definitely have to keep the news flying straight. They always love to feed into a story how bad it is and was.

It’s crazy to think that I was literally going through this 9 hours ago. We got some pretty good gusts and rain but not as bad as Morgan City, Houma, and Thibodaux. Hope everyone is alright down there and thoughts and prayers for the people that were affected down there and all throughout Louisiana and Mississippi.
Yes they coming to help fellow Americans while risking their lives. like i did with my Guard unit...but the need to risk their lives would not be there if people would evacuate the area a couple days in advance don't get me wrong this almost 70 year old veteran would go again if the need came

I work in New Orleans - worked through the storm, drove to Houma this morning and a big swath of south Louisiana- it’s not flooded outside of some low lying areas- and the damage was minimal in Nola, Morgan City, Houma, Thibadeaux took the brunt. So idk where ya getting Nola or S. LA is flooded but that is 💯 wrong
@@mathewmartinez9397 there’s numerous areas outside of those populations. I know people who had flooding all the way up here in natchitoches Parish and we only got the outskirts of the storm. Even if flooding is not bad in urban areas, there is still thousands of acres of farm land that got flooded, and suger cane farms are probably going to be impacted by the storm.

It’s crazy to think that I was literally going through this 9 hours ago. We got some pretty good gusts and rain but not as bad as Morgan City, Houma, and Thibodaux. Hope everyone is alright down there and thoughts and prayers for the people that were affected down there and all throughout Louisiana and Mississippi.

I work in New Orleans - worked through the storm, drove to Houma this morning and a big swath of south Louisiana- it’s not flooded outside of some low lying areas- and the damage was minimal in Nola, Morgan City, Houma, Thibadeaux took the brunt. So idk where ya getting Nola or S. LA is flooded but that is 💯 wrong
@@mathewmartinez9397 there’s numerous areas outside of those populations. I know people who had flooding all the way up here in natchitoches Parish and we only got the outskirts of the storm. Even if flooding is not bad in urban areas, there is still thousands of acres of farm land that got flooded, and suger cane farms are probably going to be impacted by the storm.
