Even though it may be a bit tamer than the other family boomerangs, I think this is a really good fit for Holiday World, especially with the exceptional theming!
LMAO
how could they get any tamer?
also these turns are like Big Bear Mountain wdym by “tame”
@@ryan-uk6jfthis is WAY tamer and slower than big bear mountain….
Theming? 💀
Yea a bit tame but kids will love it
Even for a family coaster that's pretty tame.
This is the exact coaster I would build as a kid playing Roller Coaster Tycoon when I had no money and needed some fast
😂😂😂😂
Hence why parks opened family coasters over the past 2 years!
That's some good gravy!
Gee Wilacres!
😂😂
Perfect coaster to bridge the thrill-level gap between Howler and Raven.
They needed something like this for so long. Great choice putting the Pilgrim's Plunge site to better use!
They need more like thunderbird
@@TheCharillz23 While another coaster like Thunderbird would be fun, they already have four excellent high thrill coasters. Meanwhile, if any kids under 48 inches want to ride a roller coaster, all they have is Howler. Good Gravy is a much-needed addition.
I like the fact that they've done boomerang coasters for beginners. It reminds me of the looping coaster in Drayton Manor.
Rather than the junior boomerang at Drayton Manor ?
@@richardwilliams4900 Oh shoot yeah that's what I meant. Sorry my mind gravitates to RCT when it comes to naming rollercoasters.
All right Now that you've built that little thing, time to not leave the raging rapids plot empty for as long as you left pilgrim's plunge.
Looks like a fun little coaster
To the people that are disappointed, you clicked on a video for a coaster called "Good Gravy!" .... What kind of coaster were you expecting?!
It's a kids ride with a funny "Holiday" themed name. Made for kids and grandpas like me.
Guests will love it. Especially the younger riders.
This was a much-needed addition to Holiday World. Before this, there was no intermediate or family coaster between Howler and the three woodies
Why are people acting like they expected i305 on a family boomerang coaster
I need to go to Holiday World again badly, still haven't even been on Thunderbird yet!
Thunderbird is positively nuts. Went on it 3 times in a row on my first trip there. The launch -> emmelman loop is wild
@@brandonsbillingsI second this! My wife was crying to not go on it but my niece and nephew wanted to go on it more times than I can count on one hand. So fun.
They called this Good Gravy to go with their Thanksgiving theme. Kings Island should have called theirs Good Grief to go with the Peanuts theme.
This one should get the gold ticket award.
Fools gold ha...love the theme and great family coaster
Is it just me, or does this seem like half the length it should have been?
Kinda
But it does ride amazing though!
Love how this intertwines so closely with the path/que area!
Will probably be my kids’ first coaster soon, can’t wait to go back!
That's a good way to cut your teeth on roller coasting. The speed might even surprise you.
Coaster Credit is all this is worth.
Rode this today. This was an awesome little ride, my daughter and I loved it. The entrance line was very nicely done and very clean and new. I've been coming to holiday world for 36 years and it's never disappointed me, and this year has been the same. The whole park is very well done and very affordable and cheap for what you get and the quality of entertainment.
Keep in mind these Family Boomerang's are all about inertia. This coaster moves a lot slower when the train is empty, versus full of people.
I thought for sure the ride was going to continue but apparently it didn't, made it seem very short
The smoothness and the sound it makes is like butter on my brain
They do move like butter but our heads shake lol
Well... that was a right good nap.
It could be nicer with soundtrack audio
make sure to take a picture of that rig for the next coaster, gotta find some flat spots!😉
GREAT FAMILY ROLLERCOASTER MORE NEED BUILT
Gravy themed roller coaster
This is the best Vekoma could give us? Seriously?
You realize the parks have their requests, right?
I l9ve the themeing...its so unique.....not everything has to be scary thrilling...look at Disney...each park has one to three kind of thrilling coasters..but all the other attractions are really mild
I didn’t realize that it’s going to be that slow (when going backwards) but it still looks like fun
I'm sure other non-inverted coasters have that type of lowered boarding platform, but it's the first time I've seen it. It's a good solution for increased platform safety.
Uh, really? ~snooze~😊
Im glad that this was confirmed as a family coaster because I was like, "Okaaay why would you waste the money on this..." I'm sure it's fun though.
The lift hill looks more exciting.
Have ridden Luna a bunch of times at Liseberg and these family boomerangs are charming. Luna has a slightly better layout and a much better view (especially at night) but these boomerangs would fit in pretty much any park. Great starter coaster for the young'uns
Why would anyone que for this😂!!!
¿que?
It’s more for families
For the credit
Good family experience. I still think a normal family coaster is a far better option though. Only benefit this has is the backwards motion.
Kids will love this ride but can’t help myself and hope the next big edition is a new show stopper launched coaster
you mean Thunderbird?
@@jamesthemaniac3293 touche i halfway forgot about the launch on thunder bird lmao, maybe something along the lines from Mack rides was what i had in mind a good compact attraction is what they need next
That ride is way too short lol. What was holiday world thinking🤦♂️ i know they needed a family coaster but it could of been like big bear mountain!!
What did you expect, it’s a family boomerang! Of course it’s going to be a short ride!
36 seconds of prime ride time is pretty typical for a family boomerang.
Personally though I would have gone with a family woodie from GG.
@@stephenboshears4832They already have enough wooden coasters, and they already have a Gravity Group coaster with The Voyage
@@TylerPCoyne I expect them to put a decent family coaster for there first since they didn't have any before. Maybe I'm crazy for that.
I do think this was a good fit
My personal choice would've either been a Spinning coaster or sticking with Vekoma, a Suspended Family Coaster like Dragonflier at Dollywood
I just came from zooder loopers video
about as basic of a boomerang coaster as it gets, I think they could have made it a bit more exciting; sure maybe doesn't need to be Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast or anything crazy like that, but at least a little exciting.
I've always questioned that why out of all themes, a gravy theme?
To that I ask, why NOT a gravy theme?
Gravy is associated with a Thanksgiving meal, and Thanksgiving is a holiday that has a section in Holiday World. See where I am going with this?
Great POV, ride looks overly tame lol
I dunno, with King's Island being 20 mins away, they need another Voyage or Thunderbird for me.
4 hours*
@@djrocketorca I live in Cincinnati
Same
I do love a good family coaster but this one does seem a bit boring in layout, might be saved if the launch is punchy.
wtf never knew that there was a roller coaster with the name good gravy😭
It just opened today! - Jack
@@coasterforce my name isn’t jack😭
@@Bmcd3565he didn’t say it was your name lol

Wow that’s really not that great of a coaster even for one meant to be tame. Sorry from the theme to the layout it’s a lame from me. 😢
Womp womp
Ehh, I will try it but…..
Triple loop at Indiana Beach looks a lot better than this
ik family coasters are supposed to be somewhat tame but this is ridiculous
I’ve had scarier rides in an Asda trolley!
Underwhelming
This ride sucks
That is just...awful.
