Okay I’m confused, why did you go from Garabaldi le chateau to Durandy (away from the chateau) to then arrive at the lifts on waterfront, to climb the chateau? Also didn’t mention the 5 or 6 different stairwell that can be climbed… suggest you pop into the tourist centre in the Promenade du Paillon the bit with the water spouting out of the ground near Aston Lascala hotel (and above the river Pallion!) Good job anyway hope you enjoy/enjoyed and had a chance to visit some of the lovely villages such nearby
