The thing with traditional Japanese instruments is they mostly use a very expensive wood in the necks, I am only familiar with the shamisen, but the cheapest ones are about 1000/2000$ and I have never seen anyone sell them outside of japan

Obakedake It's kinda a Japanese Pipa/Sitar hybrid. The Sitar sound is achieved with Sawari Nut & Frets (basically Japanese Jawari).
