If you were able to type the §k in the seed prompt, it would become 5284 because Minecraft uses java's hashCode function to calculate the hash of the seed if you input a string.
And also &k pretty much just applies a weird font.

My theory is that it would generate many hills and mountains that are either very wide (hills) or very shallow and sharp (mountains), resulting in a landscape looking a lot like quantum fluctuations.
Im pretty sure that chunk blending work near the same way the generation of smooth terrain works, by Perlin Noise, and if you use Perlin Noise in those glitchy terrains, it would really look funny, like a Mountain Hills.

@@xing._. If you think about it, this broken generation looks like a world that has no perlin noise at all, and adding forced smooth terrain (chunk blending), would generate a weird terrain that looks like a high Magnitude configuration, i think.

@@billywhizz09 yeah structures aren't so affected by chunks.
This reminds me of that old trick you could do on Pocket Edition where if tinkering with a world's folder, combining two files or something, the world would have like different structures from another world on every other chunk. Also kinda looks like the Far Lands.
I have actually gotten this terrain before, but in a modified Alpha code someone made for an ARG. Never thought about what it will look like in modern Minecraft.

It’s really cool that because of the limits Minecraft has on allowed characters in seeds you can actually sometimes see what looks like 2 of the same seed

This just reminds me of classic buffet mode from 1.12. If you go back to the version with buffet mode and set it to weird values, you'll get something a lot like this.

Can you share the source code of what you used/your mod because the symbol doesn’t make it randomize, it just formats the text to make it look indecipherable

As a fan of glitched- out minecraft seeds, this is my dream survival world.
Now get somebody to beat Minecraft on this seed
This actually looks like a world that has no perlin noise at all (i know it has, but you got my point), if you manage to add Chunk Blending on top of it, i guess it would look like some sort of high magnitude configuration because of the sudden change in the Height levels of chunks.
(If you already searched or worked with perlin Noise terrain generation you will get a bit more clear what i am talking about)

What makes this the most interesting imo, is that in theory, if you were to do this again, it'd be completely different because it's random. Meaning that this will never generate the same world twice.
