Give up Cs=she outscales you(Gets her spikes and you don't get to play the game), Group=She's good at teamfights, build armor boots + bramble=Boring build defensive on an Early/mid game champ to just not feed her and she outscales anyway(Build tank basically most boring thing in entire existence of video games). Play split pusher= she split pushes or tp's and do a penta on your team and game's over. Trust the Jungler to camp her, you just sat back to not feed and she got her spikes double kills you or the Jg just does not come at all(Never does). Counter Irelia you must = Unninstall/Stay fountain/Quit/perma ban/Dodge.
I love when the champs counter play is "Dont be in lane or even try to play the game just leave the lane and go roam. No seriously dont even try it you will regret it."

What I learned: Don't fight her if any of her abilities or passive are up, don't go near the minion wave. So I actually can't play the game, cool champion riot. Great balance.

save 5 minutes of your time: there's no way to counter her. she's just mathematically op and broken. her kit is legit worth 2 champions. a champion falling bit behind when everyone hits 6 items isn't a weakness in a game where vast majority of the games never hits this phase and there's really no way to stall a game this far by just playing right alone, especially when there's champ on the game which only counter is to avoid her entirely. she has infinite free dash farm for god sake. irelia mains trying to explain how this is not broken in a game where farm equals money and lane pressure and money and lane pressure is like 90% of the game and the rest of the 10% is mobility and she has infinite dashes around enemy minions or anything she can execute. riot just hates admitting they can be just wrong sometimes, the only reason why she is still like this. and to irelia mains telling you can still lose a game as irelia, thats on you, not on her. she is worth 2 champions nonetheless, sometimes you or your team just play very wrong.

@@srijanmishra2967 irelia is usually going to avoid pointless team fights and split pushes a lot, in team fights you’ll need some sort of front line to waste the enemies abilities before you can go in because you get ccd right when you go in. Just play a bunch of game with her and get a feel for her match ups!
I think the irelia's you've fought don't know the match up. Honestly for fighting an average or below average irelia garen ignite top is pretty solid most irelia's won't fight that raw power head on and will learn not to be as aggressive meaning less of a lead ideally and getting weaker as the game goes on.
