Honestly this may have been their best event. Only issues were wishing I'd have known it would only be Necrozma forms day 2. Missed a few shiny UB's. Also egg pool wasn't the best and crap odds. The wild shiny rate seemed much better than past few events, like an in person go fest. Marshadow quest was easy. Beast balls made doing a ton of raids so quick. The Necrozma forms are incredibly useful. I feel bad for your Marshadow being weak. I got a 15/15/14 and was in shock. Never got a mythical that good.
Well it was made clear like two months in advance arleady that day 2 is only Necrozma raids. Kinda your own fault for not reading the articles and infographics.

Umm shiny rates, unlimited remote raids, & six Special Trades, then sure it was an amazing event. HOWEVER, the amount of money we needed to spend for each set of 1,000 Fusion Energy it costs for one Necrozma Fusion Form is expensive. Because each raid gave you 80-120 Fusion Energy, you had to raid Dusk Mane or Dawn Wings 10 times to have enough Fusion Energy. If you wanted both, you need about 20 Raids. So let’s be honest, remote raiding is more convenient unless you drove to in person raids w/ enough players 10 times… So, while the ticket costed us $15, you have to consider how much it costs for just one of Necrozma’s DM/DW (to have enough of the 1,000 Fusion Energy). Considering $10 = 1,200 PokeCoins, $5 = 550 PokeCoins, and 3 Remote Raid Passes costs 575 PokeCoins, that means we needed to buy 1,725 PokeCoins to have 9 Remote Raid Passes. So, you’re spending about $15 for just one fusion of Dusk Mane or Dawn Wings. Or $30 if you want both fusion forms… This event was expensive.
Absolutely. Once you separate Necrozma from Lunala/Solgaleo you will need 1000 Solar/Lunar energy. So if they are fused I would not recommend separating them

I got 61 shinnies, considering I play in my neighborhood with barely anything. The shiny rate was better than last year imo. My only complaint was that Jangmo-o barely spawned. At least with Goomy, you saw a good amount of them. Overall this was a pretty good go-fest.
In your opinion how do you think ultra necrozma will be introduced, (I personally think you will have to use the adventure effects (amount of times) then you can evolve your dawn wings or dusk main necrozma into ultra necrozma) if ultra necrozma is introduced it will most likely have the move THE LIGHT THAT BURNS THE SKY and it May all be an adventure effect. ultra necrozma maxes out at 5216 cp so it would be an absolute power house in pvp and in raids. My friend and I did a lucky trade reroll yesterday with our shiny Necrozma and I miraculously ended up with the Shlundo, and my friend ended up with a 98! Then today after GO Fest ended but the raids were still going on, I managed to get 98 Shiny Necrozma with the background!!😁 But yeah, the shiny rates were definitely much better for me this year as compared to last year. Between both accounts, I got in total; 46 shinies.
I had all horseshoes this weekend. 44 shinies including all the fun ones. a shiny 98 necrozma, 2 hundo necrozma, 6 other hundos at random, a 98 cosmog, a 96 Lunala from research.
It was so fun. I really enjoyed the go fest. That glitch was funny for me. I even saw myself two times, one of them was with mega aura and the other one wasn't.
My only problem was with the order of the tasks in the special research. It really tries to trick you into wasting the free passes before you get to the “battle in 5 raids” step. Unless you knew ahead of time and planned your passes accordingly, then you would run out of free passes. I DID have a ton of green passes saved, but it was still annoying.
Never been so satisfied from an event. I got so many new shinies for the dex . Got some regionals from friends . Seem like shiny rates were boosted compared to other fests and tours .
my weekend was pretty great! i caught 46 shinies, a 100% necrozma, although it took me 62 raids before i got the shiny, i did get the hundo first night
I got 70 shinies, 3 were necrozma, but no hundos in 68 raids. I did get all the new ones and a few I didn't have before. 6 crabs, 3 ducks, 5 emolgas, 2 jang-mo-o (+2 hatched before), 2 tyrunts, 4 Amurua (I had grinded hard before and had no luck then went back to back), 5 spinarak and more! I did go 0-28 for xurkitree though which sucked.

I was fortunate to have a ton of premium passes saved. I only paid for remote passes. I ran out of eggs and had to buy more.
I got a Hundo necrozma so I decided spending money to max it out even doing remote raids because I couldn’t leave my house for the weekend. I regret so much doing this, I go back to GBL and out of 4 sets only 1 match I wasn’t hard countered. Every moonblast, crunch and breaking swipe I took debuffed me, made insane plays to win hard counters but then I get hit with the perfect debuffs so I wouldn’t ko the last monster. Only time I didn’t shield a mewtwo with my dialga it had focus blast, it also had shadowball(I had lunala necrozma and mewtwo with dialga, who’d think they would have focus blast and shadow ball) this season algorithm is harder than ever. I consistently got to 2700-2800 the past 5 seasons and now I can’t get through 2200 without dropping to 2000 and taking a week to go back to 2200
Was it just me, or did you guys also notice that the Weather-Boosted Remote Raids (opposed to Non-Weather Boosted) gave you better odds towards a Shiny or Background Necrozma?
I wish you could get more fusion energy by walking your Necrozma after unlocking each fusions, because currently, unfusing & refusing with Lunala & Solgaleo is unsustainable.
I honestly think the dawn wings effect is actually pretty good tbh. I ended up getting my hundo Necrozma right as I said I was done raiding. I was so happy. Also yes I had the same issue with raids. There were like duplicates of each player in the lobbies and it was glitching horribly. I also got the “gym under construction” error sometimes. It was ridiculous. But I thought go fest was awesome.
Walked 50k pretty much, 67 shiny pokemon across 2 days and 6 hundos including my first 100% gible and a 100% Maractus , 2 Pikachu , Necrozma and Dedenne, also maxed out the mega level of my swampert and a bunch of candy for pokemon I needed for some hundos. A bunch of new shiny pokemon like Tyrant,Amaura, Crabrawler, Nihilego, Necrozma , 3 Duckletts, 2 Dedenne, a couple of new espeon ,Venipede etc
We did 70 raids and only 1 shiny. Now for the most part we did ok on regular shinies. Around 80 on both accounts. The only complaint was that there were basically no jangmo-o. (We did both get a wild shiny each but we saw less than 20 the whole event)
same, got rippped off of marshadow as well, but sepnd a little too much on raiding and no shiny today, but I'll have to do in-person raids once hitting the exact amount to fuse/evolve, etc.
I had a really good fest. Got every regional shiny, got 2 shiny 96% necrozma and one with the background, as well as an xxl shiny umbreon and 2 shiny espeon
I was kinda disappointed on Saturday when I came home with only one shiny, but on Sunday I got 23 shinies, so That lifted my spirits a lot. I did get an Unbreon Hundo, but not a shiny one which is what I was most excited about. I didn’t get a hundo Necrozma but I got three that were super close to being hundos.
My local group done hundreds of raids with very limited shinnies rng was awful for us this round I likely played the in person gofest and basically had everything thank goodness. I do hope everyone got what they wanted from global
Had the same problem with the raids. At first I thought there were 11 people but then I saw only 2. Realized it's was a glitch, so I had to do the raid again. The marshadow thing also got really bad iv's. What a waste..... never got a 100% necrozma but did get 2 97... so not bad...I wasn't able to find a shiny ducklett or unknown, very disappointed... but did atleast got 3 shiny Necrozma .. overall had a good time. Tired but was worth it..
I had a good time did a ton of raids . Only thing that sucked was my game crashing every raid. Ended up with a 100 necrozma and a 98 shiny necrozma. I kept seeing people in the raid who weren’t there was a cluster
I got lucky with my Marsh because it was a 3 with high attack, and I grinded the bejebus out of Necrozma. Luna was my quest line fusion, and the cosmog I got from the research was going to be my solgaleo/duskmane. As much as I want Dawn Wings, there's one problem; Luna looks way too awesome for me to fuse it, and I got a decent 3* from the research. I don't really like the fusion designs. 28 eggs, no larvesta. Never gotten a chance to do any of the raids because no ones doing them in my area to do them, only one star ones tbh, got plenty of shinies on saturday but only only a few on sunday, didn't get my pink ducklett but got a crabrawler with red claws tho, also I hate how the collection challenges are for one day when the event lasts for 2 days, especially if you missed a few pokemon on that day because of bad spawn, also wish the incense lasted longer then an hour because I hate wasting them tbh, so yeah

i got special background hundo buzzwole, shiny zurkitree, 98 zurkitree and necorazma all i bought was the go fest ticket and the storage box from the web store with the bonus promo code raid passes and that was enough for both necrozma fusions
The visual glitches were stupid this weekend. I would click on a dusk mane but then it would turn into a dawn wings. One time it randomly turned into a Jangmo-o raid. Total cluster f@#k.
i grinded necrozma raids so hard i have 3 duskmane and 3 dawn wings with 4k+ fusion energies each left but not as much as FleeceKing who reached the fusion energy limit lmao
I got 7 shiny and did 181 and I clean pools for a living. So it’s to one each down if you enjoy it and it makes you happy than cool , cause it makes me happy
The $15 usd is a fine baseline if your raiding both days and if you're on any platform other than apple you can get absurd discounts, I got mine for $8 usd and have gotten more than enough value from the tasks plus the raids. I'd consider $13 usd which seems to be the average actual price for these things on the app store across the board to be ok. I treat the mythical pokemon that come with these things as a decent to great cherry on top that doesn't factor into my price or opportunity cost analysis. It's rare that a research pokemon in general is as good as zarude and we need to stop pretending that it's possible for them to compete in the current game.
My Marshadow is similar but even worse than yours (10/13/10) and I even went to the in person event 🫠 Background Lunala was also abysmal. RNG sucks sometimes… Had a great time other than that!
Day 1 was horrible. 30+ raids and nothing, not a single shiny. Best thing was 1 necrozma that was 93%. Had shinies that I needed that ran away from my go plus. I had some people in the community come through with lucky trades that helped make it better. Day 2 was better, caught three shiny necrozma, caught a lot more shinies I needed, including a shiny rockruff that I evolved into the dusk form. Still didn’t get anything better than a 96% non shiny nexrozma but overall it was a good weekend, including a great Sunday.

My Marshadow was a 10/11/11 but anyonesaying the $15 was a waste for getting a bad Marshadow is a fool. it was $15 for a two day event. You got 18 raid passes, a Solgaleo or Lunala, 1000 energy and ticket only incense spawns. To me $15 was a bargain as I had a lot of fun. This player base complains so much. They want every catch to be shundos and first catches.
I havent fused either yet because I have a question. How does levelling work? Do we level up Cosmog or Necrozma before fusing? Which level takes precedence? I dont want to waste candies.And because I'll be fusing Solgaleo and Lunala I want to make optimal use of my cosmog and necro candies
im literally missing 10 fusion energy. I didn't understand the fusion stuff other wise i wouldn't have raided Necrozma on day 1, I would have/ should have just waited for day 2. I am a Pokemon noob so it was a learning process for me. in fact last week. Shadow Entei & Ho-Oh were my first 5 stars ever.
The raids were busted. Clicking into one, but it was actually the other. The lobby shows other people but it's actually just me by myself. Shiny odds were terrible. Marshadow was like 15/13/12. Did 43 raids, no shiny and like 3 backgrounds, of course, on the worst ones. Dusk Mane/Solgaleo is one of my favorite pokemon though, so I made sure to get 3k+ energy.
Do you happen to know if both your Pokémon that you’re fusing have to be a lucky for the fact to take affect to reduce the amount of Stardust to power up

Dude! At the end of Fest I checked how many Necrozma raids I did and I did exactly 100, and have enough XL candies to max out 2! And I got the hundo!

I had a really good fest. Got every regional shiny, got 2 shiny 96% necrozma and one with the background, as well as an xxl shiny umbreon and 2 shiny espeon
158 raids , 3 Hundos , 1 catch card shiny, 4 shinys
I did ok, but ran into constant issues with remote raids. saying gyms are being built, game crashing. it was quite anoying.
40 raids, 11 Shiny Necrozma and 1 hundo with shiny moon crowned pikachu, solrock, Tyrunt and amaura
I was kinda disappointed on Saturday when I came home with only one shiny, but on Sunday I got 23 shinies, so
That lifted my spirits a lot. I did get an Unbreon Hundo, but not a shiny one which is what I was most excited about. I didn’t get a hundo Necrozma but I got three that were super close to being hundos.
My local group done hundreds of raids with very limited shinnies rng was awful for us this round I likely played the in person gofest and basically had everything thank goodness. I do hope everyone got what they wanted from global
Had the same problem with the raids. At first I thought there were 11 people but then I saw only 2. Realized it's was a glitch, so I had to do the raid again. The marshadow thing also got really bad iv's. What a waste..... never got a 100% necrozma but did get 2 97... so not bad...I wasn't able to find a shiny ducklett or unknown, very disappointed... but did atleast got 3 shiny Necrozma .. overall had a good time. Tired but was worth it..
I had that lobby glitch on several occasions also showed up 9 people at times when it was only 4

I had a good time did a ton of raids . Only thing that sucked was my game crashing every raid. Ended up with a 100 necrozma and a 98 shiny necrozma. I kept seeing people in the raid who weren’t there was a cluster
I got lucky with my Marsh because it was a 3 with high attack, and I grinded the bejebus out of Necrozma. Luna was my quest line fusion, and the cosmog I got from the research was going to be my solgaleo/duskmane.
As much as I want Dawn Wings, there's one problem; Luna looks way too awesome for me to fuse it, and I got a decent 3* from the research. I don't really like the fusion designs.

Never gotten a chance to do any of the raids because no ones doing them in my area to do them, only one star ones tbh, got plenty of shinies on saturday but only only a few on sunday, didn't get my pink ducklett but got a crabrawler with red claws tho, also I hate how the collection challenges are for one day when the event lasts for 2 days, especially if you missed a few pokemon on that day because of bad spawn, also wish the incense lasted longer then an hour because I hate wasting them tbh, so yeah

My luck went insane!!! 3 shiny necrozma. 1 was 98. 1 was from research. 3 star marshadow. Every available boosted shiny with the exception of heatmor and illumise. The only ultra beast shiny i dont have now is buzzwole (the one I wanted second most). But i finally caught my shiny 🦒.
i got special background hundo buzzwole, shiny zurkitree, 98 zurkitree and necorazma
all i bought was the go fest ticket and the storage box from the web store with the bonus promo code raid passes and that was enough for both necrozma fusions
I think it was a great event. I'm a pretty casual player but was really happy with what i got.
The visual glitches were stupid this weekend. I would click on a dusk mane but then it would turn into a dawn wings. One time it randomly turned into a Jangmo-o raid. Total cluster f@#k.
I caught about 800 mons during go fest hours and got like 8 shiny. I did get a shiny special background necrozma and a lucky hundo necrozma tho.
i grinded necrozma raids so hard i have 3 duskmane and 3 dawn wings with 4k+ fusion energies each left but not as much as FleeceKing who reached the fusion energy limit lmao
I got 7 shiny and did 181 and I clean pools for a living. So it’s to one each down if you enjoy it and it makes you happy than cool , cause it makes me happy
The $15 usd is a fine baseline if your raiding both days and if you're on any platform other than apple you can get absurd discounts, I got mine for $8 usd and have gotten more than enough value from the tasks plus the raids. I'd consider $13 usd which seems to be the average actual price for these things on the app store across the board to be ok. I treat the mythical pokemon that come with these things as a decent to great cherry on top that doesn't factor into my price or opportunity cost analysis. It's rare that a research pokemon in general is as good as zarude and we need to stop pretending that it's possible for them to compete in the current game.
My Marshadow is similar but even worse than yours (10/13/10) and I even went to the in person event 🫠 Background Lunala was also abysmal. RNG sucks sometimes… Had a great time other than that!

Day 1 was horrible. 30+ raids and nothing, not a single shiny. Best thing was 1 necrozma that was 93%. Had shinies that I needed that ran away from my go plus. I had some people in the community come through with lucky trades that helped make it better.
Day 2 was better, caught three shiny necrozma, caught a lot more shinies I needed, including a shiny rockruff that I evolved into the dusk form. Still didn’t get anything better than a 96% non shiny nexrozma but overall it was a good weekend, including a great Sunday.

My Marshadow was a 10/11/11 but anyonesaying the $15 was a waste for getting a bad Marshadow is a fool. it was $15 for a two day event. You got 18 raid passes, a Solgaleo or Lunala, 1000 energy and ticket only incense spawns. To me $15 was a bargain as I had a lot of fun. This player base complains so much. They want every catch to be shundos and first catches.

I've got a Shundo Necrozma with a background and fuse it with Lunala.
I did 70 Necrozma raids. Closest I got to a hundo was 15/15/11. Only two shinies. Took me 58 tries to get a shiny. Pretty annoyed tbh
This event treated me nice 21 shinys first day and 9 the second 🎉
I havent fused either yet because I have a question. How does levelling work? Do we level up Cosmog or Necrozma before fusing? Which level takes precedence? I dont want to waste candies.And because I'll be fusing Solgaleo and Lunala I want to make optimal use of my cosmog and necro candies
Niantic should make Mythical from field research have atleast 12/12/12 IV Floor or make Mythical Tradeable.
im literally missing 10 fusion energy. I didn't understand the fusion stuff other wise i wouldn't have raided Necrozma on day 1, I would have/ should have just waited for day 2. I am a Pokemon noob so it was a learning process for me. in fact last week. Shadow Entei & Ho-Oh were my first 5 stars ever.

I did 120+ raids but forgot about a Shundo/Hundo I didn't even get 2 98s ....

The raids were busted. Clicking into one, but it was actually the other. The lobby shows other people but it's actually just me by myself. Shiny odds were terrible. Marshadow was like 15/13/12. Did 43 raids, no shiny and like 3 backgrounds, of course, on the worst ones. Dusk Mane/Solgaleo is one of my favorite pokemon though, so I made sure to get 3k+ energy.

Do you happen to know if both your Pokémon that you’re fusing have to be a lucky for the fact to take affect to reduce the amount of Stardust to power up
