Yea the ka-52 wasnt the best for me to choose, i chose it because i thought it was the best heli for ground rb/SB.
I on the other hand mainly play apaches in heli pve.
And
... considering the fact that i barely touch Russian helicopters at all, i would have personally picked the apache, but hey mistakes happen.

@@rasmaster2111 haha yeah xD every heli can be very deadly if one know how to use it. KA-50/52 is just super easy and nice to fly in my expierience.

so i found out the whole l3 can fit underneath the whole churchill III tank through the back in the test drive room
era is at its least effective perfectly perpendicular, plus strikes at a 90 degree angle are unrealistic except vs insurgents with rpgs who are very patient. 45 degree or less angles are fairer, where arat-2 & relikt actually do very well against the helicopter launched missiles.
Could you explain in simpler terms please

@@MistaMeana-ck1rm ERA is more effective at greater angles. Same thing applies to almost every (If not every) form of armor.
@@MistaMeana-ck1rm Think about it like this: Imagine you are in a urban warfare environment and a tank comes strolling down the road, your in a building and the plan is to ambush it when its near you, But with this: the closer it is to you the easier you are to see and detect, because of this shooting it from a direct 90* isn't always an option because if you're seen you're screwed so if you do happen to shoot at it that's not at 90* the ERA would perform better if angled. Just like how the tiger 1 had a flat plate at its front, then with newer variants they added slopes for angles, same applies here, when angled it does better

Well it is in capabilities, but the missiles have the worst penetration out of all of the top tier missiles. Missiles like the akd-10 and the hellfire have ~1200mm of pen
Tell that to the NATO tankers in ukraine and they will tell you the same
Maybe with Merkava or Black Nigth would be easy but really cool!

The Mi-28NM with it's Krizantema's would've been one hell of an ATGM for the T-90M to stop since it's got so much pen, has tons of speed, and just lacks the range advantage of the Vikhr

The thing is, its not realistic to expect an armored push, to not have any AA with them. At the least they will have shoulder fired (stingers/etc) with them. So perhaps do this again, tanks, with ONE AA for support.
well then depending on the AA they're still fucked cause helis could either hover 10km away and snipe with missiles or fly low below radar, yeet rockets at the low-armoured AA and then finish off the MBT. (Ka-50 in particular will be effective with the first one due to missile warning system and ofc Russian Premium bias)
@@LokiV_WT Yep - the real counter to helos is that radar missiles IRL can easily lock on and hit them due to rotor spin (which is not modeled at all in WT). In a real fight, helos are forced to stay at max range and hide physically behind terrain to have any hope at engaging most forms of modern AA, and they are *still* extremely vulnerable to opposing jets which is why US doctrine make sure they have complete air superiority before rolling out the helos.
In the gulf war, multiple apaches were shot down/sent back to base just from random small arms fire on the ground - even against vastly inferior enemy forces with decade-old air defenses, they were vulnerable.
The only reason why helos in WT are good is because we have helos with pretty much modern weapon systems in-game right now (KA-52/etc..) and Gaijin gives them a completely unrealistic radar-cloak that makes radar missiles unusable against them.
@@mavor101that and their hitbox is very broken. I think this is due to the limited amount of components that you can actually damage on a heli. Meaning they basically have 'no armour = best armour'

In real life these alligator would just stay killometers away, and they could barely see you but that will engage and destroy you, it doesn't matter what tank your in.. We have seen it in Ukraine
