I feel the same. I think Feiyu is very talented (watched Lighter and Princess) and am trying to watch his other works. I came across Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan by accident after watching a short with Exo Lay and Wang Yibo. I haven't watched the untamed (I just have so many dramas I need to watch, and the untamed is also a fantasy which is a genre I don't really like that much.), just watching it's shorts. Lol. Both Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan seem like good people. I do feel a bit bad about his interaction mostly because you naturally want the people you love/like to like each other, but what can I do. I don't really know them and they most definitely don't know me. Lol. Hope in the future, better understanding prevails, amends are made, humility is practiced and they get along. 🕊️

When you have the time, certainly check it out and thereafter if you have even more time check out the book it is based on. You will be astonished at how well Xiao Zhan potrays the "real" Wei Wuixen (the one in the book). Which then continues explains the large fanbase he has amassed. He is people's book character come to life. And then of there is the romance storyline between him (Wei Wuixen) and Lan Wangji (played by Wang Yibo which is downplayed in the drama- for obvious censorship reasons, but whose chemistry still oozes on and off the screen driving fans crazy. Anyway, even though it borders on the fantasy side of things, if you have the time, do check it out. And of course, if you come across another interesting drama (especially modern dramas), just let me know under this comment and I will try to check it out.

(Yes, it got so absurdly big that the government almost got involved and they had to ban the promotion of YiZhan altogether, because the fans were going crazy) The Untamed is not banned though and the shipping of BL CPs is still quite large among the Chinese consumers. Like for example Word Of Honor (which has been very successful so far) and the yet to be aired series adaptation of "Shizun and his White Cat", as well as "Heaven's Blessing" There are other BL and Bromance CPs in China who have not been banned from interacting. It actially has to do with how they affect fans and how fans act that they end up getting restricted from appearing together.

I feel the same. I think Feiyu is very talented (watched Lighter and Princess) and am trying to watch his other works. I came across Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan by accident after watching a short with Exo Lay and Wang Yibo. I haven't watched the untamed (I just have so many dramas I need to watch, and the untamed is also a fantasy which is a genre I don't really like that much.), just watching it's shorts. Lol. Both Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan seem like good people.
I do feel a bit bad about his interaction mostly because you naturally want the people you love/like to like each other, but what can I do. I don't really know them and they most definitely don't know me. Lol.

When you have the time, certainly check it out and thereafter if you have even more time check out the book it is based on. You will be astonished at how well Xiao Zhan potrays the "real" Wei Wuixen (the one in the book). Which then continues explains the large fanbase he has amassed. He is people's book character come to life. And then of there is the romance storyline between him (Wei Wuixen) and Lan Wangji (played by Wang Yibo which is downplayed in the drama- for obvious censorship reasons, but whose chemistry still oozes on and off the screen driving fans crazy.
Anyway, even though it borders on the fantasy side of things, if you have the time, do check it out.
And of course, if you come across another interesting drama (especially modern dramas), just let me know under this comment and I will try to check it out.

Not necessarily. What happened to Addicted and it's actors was due to the controversy of the series itself and then content which was surrounding romanticization of violence and assault.
They have banned both actors from interacting in public because of fan-hater backlash due to the restriction of the series midway through airing.
With YiZhan they were not originally banned and had been promoting their series and their cp through concerts and meet-ups. The only reason they had an interaction ban is because Xiao Zhan's fans and fanfic creators created a whole fiasco on the internet after a platform they used to upload fanfics was taken down due to the (unrelated to Yizhan) content being published on the platform that goes against media censorship regulations.
Then the issue became so big that one of the writers of a YiZhan fanfic who got involved tried to unalive herself. And the whole fiasco became a threat to social and national security. (Yes, it got so absurdly big that the government almost got involved and they had to ban the promotion of YiZhan altogether, because the fans were going crazy) The Untamed is not banned though and the shipping of BL CPs is still quite large among the Chinese consumers.
Like for example Word Of Honor (which has been very successful so far) and the yet to be aired series adaptation of "Shizun and his White Cat", as well as "Heaven's Blessing"
There are other BL and Bromance CPs in China who have not been banned from interacting.
It actially has to do with how they affect fans and how fans act that they end up getting restricted from appearing together.
