I installed the Gomexus Power Knob on a Penn Spinfisher V. The knob works well,and spins freely. One thing that needs to be pointed out, is that the bearings are shielded, not sealed. If you dunk the reel, you will get water in the bearings. They are easily replaced, which helps mitigate the "crap" factor. As far as installation goes, I strongly recommend that you use a drill press or vertical mill to ensure proper alignment and minimize the risk of damaging the finish on the handle. "I recommend" really means "you better. Just my $0.02 worth.
What size spin fisher do you have? I’m looking to fit one of these to my spinfisher vi 2500 but not sure which size knob to get. Also I only have a hand drill so I’m a bit nervous about wrecking my reel
Another thing that needs to be pointed out is that you should put a washer between the reel handle and the 1st bearing to avoid loading onto the reel arm. The video just shows the bearing being installed but you can see they equip you with washers. I would use them. Additionally, cutting the handle off is a waste of time. I actually clamped the handle into the vice when I began drilling and it was fantastic. I hand drilled this starting with a good spring loaded center punch and then taking a little time to make sure that I punched close to the center of the pin and then started with a 3mm bit ensureing that i stopped occassionally to make sure I was still centered. Once I was down a little ways into the pin, i took out the 5mm (13/64) bit and drilled out the pin which took off the handle and finished out the hole for the new pin.
I followed all the Instructions and made a drill fitment. Now its on and all but the Knob itself does not spin freely and it is hard to reel and very awkward. What gives???

It will be related to some accessories added during installation, but you can add some screws to fix
