We love love love your reaction to this performance and a little side note that not a lot of people know hardly anybody knows about this particular performance. Well Selena had literally just gotten over laryngitis and was barely beginning to sound like herself after a week of recovery this was her first performance and you can hear certain parts where she does lose it but regains its like a pro vocally.
Her voice. She put her heart into every song. When they played in San Angelo when she was a little girl she would go to the tables and asked if they enjoyed the performance and if she did well. How I wish I could have given that little girl a big hug. Selena you were an angel on Earth

I’ll admit I didn’t grow up listening to her music but at one point I worked with a lot of people who adored her and they played her music all of the time. I fell in love with her music! I don’t understand a lot of what she sings because I’m faaar from fluent in Spanish, but you can really feel the emotions behind her beautiful singing. There is a story behind her hairstyle,she was so humble and commited to her public that apparently her sister was finishing her hair and they call her to the stage so she left with her hair half done because she felt that it was not ok to leave her audience waiting. She went all brave and commited and gave her 100% with this song and with her performance (she was the queen of the stage)
