Wanda MyMannequinMayhem it’s such a gorgeous van isn’t it. Thank you for watching. I think we’ll keep doing these videos seeing how well this one has done :) all the best
I looooove this van! I absolutely LOVE the character and ALLLLLLL of it its perfect imperfections. To me, it's a little piece of heaven! Thank you for sharing! Loved it!
Greetings from The United States of America! Great build! I love the leather straps. The reuse of the pallets was absolutely brilliantly done! The only con I see is watch your leg with that wood stove getting out of bed!
Gorgeous! Just gorgeous! So many original design ideas. Love the straps, the tiles, gin bottles, wood burner, pallet boards and all together rustic look. So much character. Brilliant! 👍🏼😉
Everything is so beautiful a very well design. What I love the must is your use of the memories you travel in the design without making it look clutter it look to me like a piece of art.
What a beautiful van! Absolutely lovely! I have to say, what a super van tour video - love how real and authentic the filming and feel of it is. Certainly one of the best by far van tour videos I've watched. Hope you do more. Go team LDV! Rich. 😊👊
If the shocks on the bike are air based, let the air out of the shocks when packing down instead of removing the handlebars, a be sure to put a clip on the door for the shock pump! Definitely worth putting a block under the bottom bracket of the bike and storing the frame upright so air doesn't travel down the brake lines away from the reservoir, and always shim of block the brake pads open!!!! Love the build guys!
A great van build. Using many of these features in our Peugeot Boxer conversion. We’ve just finished the insulation and cladding stage, so it’s a real inspiration to see a finished van looking this good. Thanks for the tour.
Thanks Steve, great to hear you found it inspiring. I guess now you've got those bits in the real fun can begin with the design etc! All the best on the conversion.
Oh amazing! I love the little leather strap tie downs! I'd been thinking of something like that, so it's amazing to see it in action in their. van Thanks a ton for the inspo! Safe travels!
Love this van, with so many items brought in from family, holidays and souvenirs. Our 1965 show van has items from friends and family. No loo though? Best wishes.
edward yates the little personal items make it so cosy and homely! We love their van. Not sure what they do for a loo haha maybe the old school shovel method perhaps?
Love your van. Spice racks are great also. You could make 2 straps and attach at top and bottom of bed drawers and run a small pole or board into the straps. This may hold your drawers from opening. Just an idea.
Loved this tour...so many really lovely features of this van, we've always loved LDVs :-) Hope you do more tours in the future, maybe you could do one of Ludo?? ;-)
I'm sure they'll be very flattered, it's a cracking van! I think we're going to take a leaf from their book and get a woodburner sorted in ours soon. Winters are so long without a warm place to live.
Absolutely beautiful van. If I had one it would look just like yours. But what is typical day without a potty? I realize you can go for days without shower......thanks to wet wipes....or wash your hair in the kitchen sink.
Hey, thanks for watching! You can ask these guys more about their van on Instagram :) As for us, we have a small portaloo in our van which is used at night if we can't find a place outside where it won't damage the environment or could upset locals etc.
Beautiful and cosy van conversion, full of lovely details, leather strips, etc.!! i think i prefer 1 or 2 windows in the backdoor for a nice view in the morning and for more light in the bus, seems a bit dark and claustrophobic now. Or is their enough light inside from 1 window by the leftdoor?
We bought a mini log burner for our van! But people on a van life facebook group were telling me that no insurance companies would insure me with such a big fire risk, and as I'm still in my first year of driving 🤔
Nice, but I would add some dort of camping toilet....aldo a removable colapsible tub or salad bowl/colander 2 use 4 washing fruit and dishes as U don't have a separate bth-rm & kitchen sink...pet peeve of mine...spitting in the kitchen sink when U brush your teeth. Love the use of the jam tub ad a sink 🙂
Just discovered your channel and subscribed. Love your Europe travelogue which I'm half way through. Watched the first few episodes on a little netbook, parked up in the Mid Wales mountains last week. In the middle of nowhere and enveloped in freezing fog! Just going to edit a wee vlog about it and I think I give you a mention. My only observations which perhaps stray from majority of vanlifers, is that the whole world and his wife use Theo and Bea's The Indie Projects as a template for their own vlogs.. The travelogue element, Van tours of other people's vans, The restoration projects...even the thumbnails! Obviously this format is very popular but personally, I'm starting to find this structure a bit tired. Is it just me? What do others think I wonder?
Hey thanks for the message. It sounds like a lovely place to be- we'd love to get over to Wales and explore sometime. I'm not too sure what you mean in the second half, we actually try very hard to not follow the same structure of other peoples videos and spend a good solid few days or longer editing each video. The vast majority of our music is produced locally by our friends from the village in which we reside back in Cornwall, so is as original as it comes. I'm sorry if people think we're too 'same-y'. We've bought a restoration project because we're really excited to get stuck in to a new project for the winter. We originally started our UA-cam channel as a way of remembering our travels, so it's a bonus to us for everyone that want's to follow along. Van tours aren't really our thing, but we enjoyed filming and creating this nonetheless, and may do more in the future, again though, we'd hate to think people think we're ripping other people's creativity off, I'm so sorry to those if that's the vibe we give off, it was never intended. We actually get on really well with those guys you mention and love their work- we were very careful to try our best to have a different approach in our videos. Our true passion does lie in photojournalism, and hopefully in the future we'll be leaning more towards this angle with our channel. We try extremely hard not to step on anyone's toes or in any way copy anyone else's work. It's totally not our style, so I can't pretend that hasn't upset me a little to hear. I may have taken it the wrong way however in which case I do apologise. All the best and enjoy your day.
Hi...Sorry if I sounded negative. I think you're incredibly creative and make great vlogs. My only comment was regarding the tried and tested template that so many vanlife vloggers use. The four basic elements I referred to above. I think I'm the exception to the rule as the viewing figures show that other people's van tours, for example, are incredibly popular. Ditto, restoration projects. I guess that at the end of the day most people like a format that they get used to and I suppose there are only so many ways to present vanlife? I'm looking forward to seeing your future vlogs. I'm sure they'll be great!
Black Dog Vantrails Yeah I do see what you mean there. I guess in any industry there becomes a tried and tested method of doing things, the way that works best. In the case of UA-cam I think there’s such an oversaturation of videos that it probably forces the creator to follow the done methods in order to succeed with it. That said, we’ve never really been big in to UA-cam- we just film and edit as we like it to be and have learnt through university etc with our own creative spin. In the case of the tours, they’re so incredibly popular (we’re still amazed how well our ones doing!) so I guess there’s a huge market, particularly for aspiring van-lifers or converters. Anyway thanks again for watching- sorry if I took that comment the wrong way haha. Hope you like the new vid 😃
Yes...I watched your newbie tonight...very good. Hairy times when you broke down in a monsoon!... and I'm intrigued with your forthcoming Vauxhall project. I love old campers a lot more than souless modern vans and...spit!...RV's! ! One thing that would improve your vlog.......a dog! :)
How did you attach leather strap pieces to walls, wood, and/or bottles? It looks very nice. I have handmade leather pieces throughout my RV as well. Would love to know how you did attachments. Thanks.
It’s a beautiful feature of their van for sure. If you look up ‘vandering around’ on either Instagram or Facebook, they’ll be able to answer your question as it’s not actually our van :)
lovely van but putting in that woodburner is stupid. that small space don't need that at all. it will end up being a decorative piece and waste of space
Molly Maisie couldn’t disagree more. Having spent the last winter in our van without a wood burner and in regularly below freezing temperatures, we’d have made very good use of one of these. If you live in a hot country you obviously don’t need one and it would as you say become a waste of space but travelling through different countries, climates and altitudes I’d say a wood burner is a very smart idea 🤙
Thanks for watching. Don't forget to subscribe for more videos!
Why does grandma's "old" pan have a place where a sticker was??
Do you know what drift wood really is??
How adorably beautiful. I love the small touches throughout. The blue is so full of life and pure serenity. Very peaceful. Safe travels. Namaste.
Wanda MyMannequinMayhem it’s such a gorgeous van isn’t it. Thank you for watching. I think we’ll keep doing these videos seeing how well this one has done :) all the best

Thanks for watching, pleased you like their van! 😄 aha yes don’t wanna be hitting that in the darkness of night! 🤘
Pretty van. Lots of lovely individual touches.
Gorgeous! Just gorgeous! So many original design ideas. Love the straps, the tiles, gin bottles, wood burner, pallet boards and all together rustic look. So much character. Brilliant! 👍🏼😉
I like your rustic creativity! Charming!!!
Everything is so beautiful a very well design. What I love the must is your use of the memories you travel in the design without making it look clutter it look to me like a piece of art.
Mel Reflections Agreed. It’s got so many nice personal touches without looking cluttered. They’ve done a great job! Thanks for watching
Outstanding, love the creativity, it's the little things that make it yours, just love it.
Log burner buddy!!!!! 🤣 lovely van. I love the kitchen cupboards color, it seems to change from angles! 👏
It's such a cool colour! And we LOVE the burner. Gotta get ourselves one of those haha
If only there was a toilet n shower system. Still super cosy with the log burner. Love it.
Omg so nice inside! I love those old busses, they have a soul like new ones don’t
What a beautiful van! Absolutely lovely! I have to say, what a super van tour video - love how real and authentic the filming and feel of it is. Certainly one of the best by far van tour videos I've watched. Hope you do more. Go team LDV!
Rich. 😊👊
Thanks Rich much appreciated! We'll try and do some more if any come along- it's good fun filming something a bit different to the vlogs 🤙
Agreed also I loved the music it was really chilled and haunting at the end.
If the shocks on the bike are air based, let the air out of the shocks when packing down instead of removing the handlebars, a be sure to put a clip on the door for the shock pump! It's such a cool idea isn't it. We'll definitely be utilising that in our next build! Thanks for watching :)
Nice job looks really homely good to see that they've recycled a lot of stuff in the build . Good choice of van LDV CONVOYS are so underrated .
Agree- love to see the way people up-cycle things
Absaloutely love it. Thanks for going through set up and build/conversion. Beautiful xx
That is one of the best builds I've seen so far. Beautiful!
Sweet van tour! I love all of the reclaimed wood. It is definitely a great way to make a van look homey. Thanks for sharing :-D
Sarah Tree Couldn’t agree more! Thanks for watching 🙏
wow what a lovely van ldv great vans with transit running gear go forever
They do unless the rust kills them first! We're having that problem with ours at the moment but you're right, can't fault the engines!
Love your van. Spice racks are great also. You could make 2 straps and attach at top and bottom of bed drawers and run a small pole or board into the straps. This may hold your drawers from opening. Just an idea.
Thanks for the suggestion! Their spice rack is awesome, isn't it? 😄
Easy affordable DIY is adding child locks inside the draws to keep them shut while driving. Nice build
Melanin Goddess that’s a great idea! Simple and effective 👌
Loved this tour...so many really lovely features of this van, we've always loved LDVs :-) Hope you do more tours in the future, maybe you could do one of Ludo?? ;-)
Thanks for watching 😊 YES YES YES we'd love to do that! We have to make that happen
Stunning van ...can't beat a bit of free pallet wood 😁😁
Love the sink too ...nice works guys
The sink is one of our favorite touches!
It's a lovely van, well done you both
The switch panel looks cool

I'm sure they'll be very flattered, it's a cracking van! I think we're going to take a leaf from their book and get a woodburner sorted in ours soon. Winters are so long without a warm place to live.
The couple looks so sweet 💕 btw amazing cozy van loved that

Absolutely beautiful van. If I had one it would look just like yours. But what is typical day without a potty? I realize you can go for days without shower......thanks to wet wipes....or wash your hair in the kitchen sink.

So very cute! I really like your build.
don't be so negative about your creation, its lovely
Sorry is it rude or offensive to " LOVE YOUR HAIR " . WOW, the best i've seen.
PAUL,A1 haha no not at all! Thank you very much 😄
Awesome ldv, I love some of the touches they made. Wonky is fine, ldv's are very wonky so it just goes lol.

Nice
Toilet? Shower? Otherwise very cute.
1:43 wtf was that noise?!?
Waw
