Some priceless shots , a kingfisher perches on a barasingha horn, another one barasingha sharing a small tapu with a crocodile... Wonder if the crocs ever attack the deer when croc is in water.
I am a regular visitor to Kishanpur wildlife sanctuary and I had once sighted Otters sitting adjacent to the Crocodiles here besides Barasingha. I also thought about this same thing that time. The only reason can be Jhadi Taal is abundant in fish population and crocodiles are never hungry here. They only come out for basking in the sun
Thanks a lot for telling the story of Muniya. I saw her and her fawn last month and was amazed to see that it's so "used to" with humans (though her fawn was foraging far from the campus site) We humans are lucky that such wild creatures are still showing faith in us and allow us to go close to them.
Oh! you do have an expert pair of hands with the camera. In this video you have given a wonderful glimpse of Kishanpur sanctuary. We had visited it along with Dudhwa in December 2001 and seen a tiger crossing the road in Dudhwa. Of the birds we saw in plenty but I still remember the lesser seen 'Shyama'. Kishanpur then (and I think it still does) housed a large number of resident and migratory birds. Your video inspires me to visit Kishanpur again.
I am a regular visitor to Kishanpur wildlife sanctuary this year and last visited during mid November. The most commonly sighted huge male tiger here is Tuliya Puliya/Rustom/Bajrang male only when he is out on territory marking As per the local guides, I heard that Gulrahi male is frequently sighted here with Beldanda female and cubs because Beldanda female does all the hardwork of hunting the deers and Gulrahi male loves to eat food without any efforts taking care of the cubs in return 😂 Your comments regarding Camp Riverview are hilarious. I usually stay here in Dudhwa Wilderness Camp which is adjacent to the forest boundary and much more adventurous. You can also try this out once
5:26 to 8:40 ..... Beautiful tiger sighting 10:08 this campus doesn't have fence 14:41 serpent eagle 17:25 lesser whistling ducks, lovely landing of ducks 18:03 good to hear that Kishanpur doesn't have lantana...
Nice video Apoorva, these jungles are my second home (and I invited you few months/years back), and I have extensively made & shared videos about jungles of Tarai. Since I couldn't visit it this year, it was great to have experienced it through your lens. Kingfisher on Barahsingha was a a great sight, hope you got still shots too 😊👍
Brother ur the best indian wildlife vlogger in my opinion. Plz come down south to southern India to which has also large nunber of national parks and tiger reserves especially my home state karnataka which has the 2nd highest tiger population after Madhya pradesh in terms of states.kerala and tamil nadu also has beatiful national parks with nilgiri and western ghats in the background with reach wildlife including tigers, elephants, leopards, Indian Gaur etc

Indeed
Yeah need answer of this 😂
Though, they are capable of doing it but they prefer smaller prey. But it's wild and no one can predict what we can witness there.
