The fact that Wing actually called out Napom and did his style even though Napom is a well known counterer is insane.
Since we haven't seen many champions return last few years I was nervous of never seeing Napom at GBB again. Man's came out so hot and shown how much he's improved since winning.

When Napom is bringing his strongest beat for his second round, that alone speaks for the fact that how deadly Wing was in both of his rounds. What an absolute legendary performance from both these artists. Wish we still had the rule for a tie breaker round 'cause this definitely would be an appropriate contender for it!

Yeah honestly as powerful as Napom is, to me his routines always sound way too similar and recycled. Like I get how great he is, but I really never get the ‘wow’ factor from him, always does exactly what I expect from his performances
napom is so good that he can freestyle semis, nobody hits as hard no matter what the sound system is

@yuhhh2593 I mean obviously it's one of his signatures, idk why yall always expect him to pull out the rabbit out of the hat. He does freestyle a lot so I think he deserves a pass if he does a routine on a battle so many other beatboxers do it too.
And Remember how many times he was on stage at that moment, from solo then battle to battle, there's little time to prepare that's why many can't do it like that.

ICE VS RIVER was amazing.
I feel like he partially got penilized for touching River during the battle.
Although it was 5-0 on scorecards, ICE was very close to stealing that. River was slightly fuller and cleaner than ICE.
Ether way, what a damn first impression from ICE, first GBB and a competitive battle against arguably one of the best beatboxers in the world currently.

Wing's first round was kind of a throwaway. Both rounds like round 2 would have won
I can definitely see your pov. I do think though what Dlow says in his reaction/response vid is also pretty valid. Napom’s legacy precedes him, but he’s also just an amazing battle oriented beatboxer that can spontaneously seize moments on stage that carefully planned, methodical and precise beatboxing can’t. On video, it definitely skews more in favour of Wing but the live venue probably felt different.
just in my opinion, now we have to change the champion place to the next generation. i no doubt napom's ability but we all know that we want a fresh champion! and we already know wing has that qualification!

In my opinion, I give Wing the win because Napom did 2 of his routine in 1 and he combine them which is repetitive. Also Napom spammed a little too much, and it felt like it was not under control and felt it was freestyle too.
