I am just so, so, so happy for you!! I love seeing you guys so happy with your little munchkin running errands as a family!! It’s just lovely and joyous and all the good things. 🌸🥰🌸
Your vlogs are so absolutely relatable 😂 - everything from the finger hair tourniquet paranoia to the dilemma about car seats. We just ordered our ‘proper’ car seat at the weekend !
The only thing I ever tell new mothers to be is, have a good attitude. Don't let being pregnant give you an excuse to be grumpy. Enjoy your pregnancy and the birth process. There is a miracle happening in your midst ❤.
I LOVED the stroller/car seat compo for doctor appointments and small shopping trips.
It is legit hard saving for the next transfer when the child we have now has expenses. Obviously worth it but we are way more intentional with our spending than ever!
Try the spinach and mozzarella ravioli from Costco. Omg its my new obsession. Some Alfredo sauce of your choice and you'll be in heaven
I sat in the backseat with my 1st for 9 months. Every time. With my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th...I sat in the back on the ride home from the hospital. Then Momma got back in the front seat!
Oh man, I remember the anxiety surrounding leaving the house when my oldest was a baby. Now I have two and my big struggle is social anxiety with making mom friends. My neighbor started a toddler swim club a few years ago and kind of pawned it off on me when her kids outgrew it and at first I was overwhelmed with that responsibility, but now I use recruiting new families as an excuse to go up to random parents and talk to them. I've made several friends just by doing that. It turns out that the "just do it until you realize you're doing it" mentality with leaving the house also applies to socializing!
Hi! As a future mom - would you talk on the WHY you are nervous to take her for walks or bring her places? Just wondering what the mindset or anxiety is? Thank you!
Some people’s lack of self awareness is unreal! Unfortunately for me, a couple female family members that I see pretty regularly are those type and I dealt with many comments during pregnancy (and now with kids). I’ve learned to be very stern in shutting things down but it’s uncomfy every time and wish I didn’t have to be!
I need some of your bravery! You go Mama! ❤
I was pregnant with my son in 2020, and a woman commented when she saw my husband and I “they didn’t social distance” 🤦♀️🤦♀️
The nerve some people have to think their opinion is that important to put on others 🤦🏻♀️.
This is probably the best way somebody has worded that sentiment lol exactly!!
That wamen needs a timeout 😌
People don't think before they speak they think they know what's best for you and think they should tell you what to do and it doesn't work that way you are the only one that knows what you need to do and what's best for you I love your videos yall are such amazing parents and you have an adorable and beautiful baby girl ❤❤❤❤❤
My Daughter had her Dula just for post Birth, and only at home. She stayed at her house for a Month to help care for both Mom and baby. Plus hubby and myself helped. She was an emergency C section and it was a second child. Sometimes a Dula can be a Godsend. You have to be completely comfortable with your choices. You’re doing great Mom! Hugs from Houston ❤
Your doing amazing Mama!! Each baby you will get more and more at ease!! This is your first baby totally understand it all!!
You’re so nice 🥹 thank you 🩷🩷
You have Annie , unkind comments don’t matter!❤ Hugs from Houston
I sat in the backseat for the first ride😂
And our daughter went to sleep in her own room after 4 weeks, she's such a grunter in her sleep we would be wide awake and she sound asleep so after 4 weeks we were done and she slept wonderfully
I sat in the back seat till my baby got fussy in car rides around age 3/4 months. At that point I realized having me in the back seat was pissing him off more lol. Because he wanted me to pick him up while the car was in motion. Once I took passenger seat he learned to love car rides looking out the windows and staring at us in the mirror lol.
When did you transition to the pram from the cot?
OMG. The exact same thing happened to me! I went in for a prenatal massage and the masseuse was asking me, in detail, what my birth plan was. I was getting induced, so I told her that and she went on a rant about how my body should know what to do, so on and so forth as I’m laying there, naked, being massaged by her. It was terrible! She kept on for about an hour out of the 90 minute massage I was signed up for. Turns out she was a midwife who specializes in home births and began to bash hospitals and hospital staff. Mind you, I’m a NICU nurse. 😅
I finally said ma’am, I’m a NICU nurse and I am very comfortable and confident in the care I’ll be given by the staff who I also call my friends. That finally shut her up an hour into the massage. She then has the audacity to say “please bring your sweet baby by I’d love to meet her” 👀 no ma’am.
Worst part about it was the massage itself was incredible but not relaxing in the least.
The Costco lasagna is lovely! They also have lovely cheese ravioli!
My mouth is watering rn thinking about that 😂🩷
Hello Mac, Jack and Annie ❤
Hi Sophie! 🩷🩷
Love your videos and thank you for sharing! we are 24 weeks along and would love to see your registry and hospital bag video ideas!! Finalizing my registry this week and it’s so stressful.
As someone here who did hire a doula to navigate this process with us. It’s a nice to have, you certainly learn random things throughout the process that I don’t think we would have figured out. However, I felt more comfy hiring her because I live across the country from my family/support and my mom isn’t present in my life. Otherwise, I don’t think it’s necessary.
Also, incredibly rude of her to ask your birth plan and make comments! I’ve just hit the phase where I’m slightly showing and getting all the comments! haha..
Never sat in back seat
Say to the woman” do you get a kickback for pushing your relative”.
yessss! ❤
Next time you are at Costco..if you like dumplings, try the pork soup dumplings. Sooooo good and an easy dinner
I LOVE dumplings, will buy next time
I stopped sitting in the backseat the day we came home from the hospital with all of my kids. I think it all depends on the momma.
I thought that was gonna be me!
@@macdingle she's your first little one! I love watching you with her. You are a great momma.🥰
Costco lasagna is really good!
Soooooo good
When I was 9 months pregnant this woman at Trader Joe’s got pissed at me for not moving out of her way fast enough walking down the aisle. She thanked the woman next to me for moving and then said “NOT YOU” to me. I was practically a boulder, and she could have just been patient with me. give the preggos a break!G
That is UNHINGED!! ❤
My husband insists on sitting in the back with our 3 year old daughter 😅 Now we have a newborn so I foresee him in the back for another 3 years 😬
That is actually the cutest thing ever lol
@@macdingle it's even cuter when you learn that he's 6'8 and cramped in the backseat😅
I just saw on Instagram that a woman’s baby haaaaated the car seat until they realized the diaper was too tight! The reclined angle of the infant seat was making the diaper too tight on her tummy and so she screamed the whole time. Try loosening her diaper at the top before you go and see if that helps her!
I saw this too! We're on the same side of Instagram 😂
My girl is 15 months, I still sit in the back 😂 and I 100% relate to the anxiety about doing things with baby as a new mom. You’re doing amazing! I’m still working on my anxiety with taking her places on my own. Baby steps! 💕
YOU'RE doing amazing!! We've got this ❤❤
Never got to sit in the back seat. I drove myself home from the hospital. And since I’m the driver, both of my children were in the back seat.
you drove yourself home?? I wish I could go back in time and drive you home myself!! ❤
@@macdingle yes, I was living in Bangor at the time. My now ex husband was out of state with his Girlfriend. So I rather quickly got used to driving everywhere alone. When my first child was born he was away on military duty. So I never rode in the back seat during their childhoods. They are now both grown and I have beautiful Grandchildren. You become accustomed to how life is, when there is no alternative. You do what you must right?
@@macdingle that’s a lovely thought❤️
My rule for riding with your child in backseat is when they enter jr high. It’s hard but you can totally do it. Of course, they may leave you in the back seat and ride up front with Dad. Kids are like that! LOL
You and Jack are doing great, having fun and meeting all the goals. Even without a doula, Miss Annie is a happy, loved girl. All the best
I love this lol Jr. High it is! 😂❤
The thing that stresses me out and makes me uncomfortable is driving alone with my baby in the car. I cannot stand it. I am 100% with you on sitting in the backseat. I will also not be caught dead in the front seat if I don't need to drive. 😂
