The Lions are suddenly amazing at drafting. The fact that just in the last couple years they’ve drafted TJ Hockinson AND Sam Laporta at such an important and tough-to-transition position…I’ve seen detroit 7-2 but I’ve never seen them 7-2 with a future. So long as they have draft picks, this GM/HC duo will keep them competitive.
It's amazing what happens when you bring in a real GM like Brad Holmes, instead of dumbasses like Matt Millen or Bob Quinn. Holmes formerly worked as a scouting director for the Rams during those years when they had Goff and were trending upwards. To see him working his magic in the draft seems natural with his background, he's clearly got an eye for talent to take guys like Gibbs and Jack Campbell when everyone doubted the moves (myself included). Plus bringing Dan Campbell in as the head coach was a very smart move, this tandem is just perfect for each other. Only 3 years together and they already turned a miserable future-less franchise into a competitor.
@LordPichuPal Having the balls to trade one of the two best QBs in franchise history for picks and a guy who everyone thought was going to be a transitional QB is what put this team in contention. Holmes knew what Goff was capable of, and while we can't say he fleeced the Rams (they did get a ring with Stafford), he certainly got incredible value in return. I firmly believe that Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell are going to be handing Sheila Ford-Kamp a Lombardi trophy in the not-too-diatant future.

NFL teams are concerned about the possibility of the Broncos finally getting their sh*t together.
Perna we need to talk about your curse wheel..
EJ Snyder knew about Puka Nacua
Perna, I would like to file a formal complaint on the topic of the curse wheel. I have bet on every single cursed team, lost horribly and had to sell my mortgage. I bet on my favorite team (the Bengals) this afternoon, and now my kid is being sent overseas; you truly are a monster.
The Jets have scored 1 touchdown in the last 4 weeks when the defense was actually trying to stop them. ONE! Yes, they have two touchdowns but the other was the Eagles letting the Jets score.
My husband loves your shirt.. where did you get it?! 😊
This season is crazy. Love seeing teams like Texas being a surprise. As for the worse team, the Panthers, well what can one say…um…what can one say…condolences to the Panther fans. Even though it took time to think of it, the condolences are real.
