Great overview! I bought the Sample Drum about a month ago, have been using it a bit. I found your video super helpful to learn some of the important features I missed -> shift and 1v/oct for instance, and trigger delay. I read the manual but missed these bits while making music... thanks so much!
I wanted something that could do CV loop stuff on-the-fly like the Akai S-612. This does that very well. Something else might be the Pulse Synths Load Runner. But I'm very happy w/ Sample Drum.
Great reviews, seems like a fantastic module. Good choice with the 700s, too - that's what popped into my head right before you mentioned it. Must be cool to have, as well!
hi. are you triggering it straight from the Beatstep Pro? no problem with overvoltages from Beatstep? thx
Yes, and no issues.

My sample drum was omitting a whining noise until I turned the brightness off, maybe that could help someone else having the same issue.
I just ordered one, should have it tomorrow. I can't wait to add it in line with the Erica Synths black sequencer!
Nice review. A year on what do you think and are there any alternatives?

Solid, in depth review -- this is super helpful. Thank you!
fantastic work, thank you for posting
I want to jump on it.. my spidey sense tell me a version 2 might be coming
Hmm, might this theoretical version 2 have sample editing? Cut, paste, normalize, zero crossing... that would be tasty.
Super helpful vid!
great tips thanks
to convert Audio Samplesto 16bit mono, easy way, use the batch processing with folders with audacity

Excellent review sir :)
I may not know the weight of the sun, but with this thing I'm sure I can become mayor of Sampleton.
Thanks for the videos. I like them, even though you sound like you might be from North Carolinas or something :)
this module is sooo underrated tbh
I still love mine!
