Great overview! I bought the Sample Drum about a month ago, have been using it a bit. I found your video super helpful to learn some of the important features I missed -> shift and 1v/oct for instance, and trigger delay. I read the manual but missed these bits while making music... thanks so much!
I wanted something that could do CV loop stuff on-the-fly like the Akai S-612. This does that very well. Something else might be the Pulse Synths Load Runner. But I'm very happy w/ Sample Drum.

My sample drum was omitting a whining noise until I turned the brightness off, maybe that could help someone else having the same issue.
I just ordered one, should have it tomorrow. I can't wait to add it in line with the Erica Synths black sequencer!
