NH1530. The most reliable Combine I’ve ever known. Wouldn’t put a spanner on it all harvest! Great Video and brings back wonderful memories of this wonderful machine.
Hi Richard pleased you liked my video and took the time to comment and hopefully subscribe so you can see my other videos of the 1530 and then newer and bigger combines as well. Cheers Andy 😊👍
Nice video, great shots from the drone, really like the last cut down the field where the two dividers fit in between the two rows of straw, its nice when it works like that. We have two 1530's and a M103, the 103 is 1965, one of the 1530's is 1974 and the other one is 1982, all machines are 10 foot cut and none have cabs. Great machine the 1530 is, cut in second gear with some variable belt speed on, have the standard New Holland frog mouth riddle still in the top but made round hole riddles for the bottom, very clean grain samples now.
Hi madeljacky Wow you really know your vintage New Holland 1530’s, good to hear about your mods and that they are all still going strong. Thanks for your positive feedback. Cheers Andy
I can see he wasn't the driver for the other part of this field lol,,, I guess he won't be the one on the baler either 😂,, but he should be made to ha ha
Hi Alan I agree the best way to make a combine driver play fair with the baler driver is to make him bale a few hundred bales and he’ll soon see why turning too quickly at the end is a right pain 🤦♂️😂

Thanks Alex
Hi Andy very nice video good seeing the old combine and reading it's history Thanks again
Thanks Darren that’s probably the last time that old girl will harvest on our farm so I thought I’d make a video about it.
Great video. Love the first vertical pan coming out of the barley
Thanks Tracey, I went all David Attenborough for a few seconds 😁😁
Most of the same fundamentals of a $600K machine! Amazing.
Yes the depreciation on this combine per year will coat about the same as a loaf of bread !!!😊
Only thing wot breaks on them is the bolt on arm can ya remember andy trying to thread the string down and trying to get it lined up lol
Hi Steve yes I do, it was more tricky than fishing for carp 😊😊
