Way to go Acoustic Letter! I had the privilege of seeing Doyle live in Chattanooga and it is unbelievable how a human being can play so complex and clean at the same time. Even more shocking was is how humble he is. Great guy. Great video.
I'm from the UK and I came to Music Villa Bozeman Montana while I was on holiday in 2004 and bought a J200 custom Maple & a Les Paul at USA $ prices (so much cheaper than the UK £ Price !!) I also was shown around the Gibson Acoustic guitar factory which was amazing ! I've subscribed to the Email newsletter & this Channel eversince .(and bought the Tee Shirt !) My guitar hero!!!! My fingerstyle inspiration. Iam truly blessed to have one of his Taylor signature as well as his Guild signature guitar...(both autographed by Doyle)!
I'm convinced that you could hand Doyle any guitar and it will sound amazing. That being said those Guilds sound especially great in his hands. Awesome video!
He used to be sponsored by Taylor and swore by them and did Taylor workshops and shows for years, now its Guild? Reminds me of when “Paul” switched from Verizon to Sprint. Guess you praise whoever feeds ya.
I have loved & followed Doyle since 1996. First with Taylor, then Gretch, he had played Godin before Taylor, now Guild. I think Doyle plays whatever guitar model someone is willing to pay him to play. He has to make a living.
Is Doyle doing Godin and Guild now ? I think that is awesome if he is helping both of them . Doyle is my favorite guitar player of all time, glad you had him on your show. Best playing so far and you have had some good players Paul.
