I remember when the ferry from Bodo finally arrived in Moskenes. It was blowing a gale, very cold but my breath was taken away not by the wind, but by the most beautiful place on earth! We stayed in Hamnoy, not featured in this film which is a shame because it's just gorgeous. The day we sailed away I almost cried! we are planning another trip back to the Lofoten Islands, probably October - November '16 we were there last March, great for viewing the Northern Lights!
you are a very fortunate person to live amongst such incredible beauty! no other country compares...I have not been to Henningsvaer, but I shall take your advice and visit when I am there again :)
I go every year to Norway for fishing. last 4 times we were on the Island Bolga. This year we go to the Lofoten to the small town A. Its on this video at 9:15I wish I live there. Its so peacefull.
It was a Nice siden. I am Lidingö in Sweden but I am from Norway, so it is diffust to december what is my homeland. But Norway is vers beautiful, as we can see absolut in this video . It is Nice to be back in my real homeland threw this video. But in fact neither Norway nor Sweden is my real homeland, here I am a stranger, a much greater land is waiting for me. Depends on what season you want to experience. Winter in January-March, (winter/spring in April,) spring around May, Northern Norwegian summer in June-August, autumn in September, autumn/winter in October-December. I prefer summer; July/August.

Yes sadly its expencive, higher costs. I was so lucky i was there once trough work :)
Holland is like one of the cheaper places in Europe but no life quality is lose in the meantime.Love the urban vibes.
