I'm so proud of you!! I'll be 58 the 19th. I did hay and tobacco for many many years and I'm so happy to see another young lady killing it on that tractor. I did a lot of manual hay stacking in my younger days and was never as happy in my life when daddy bought a hay roller!! Lol
Throwing bales of hay and hanging tobacco wasn't easy on the back and I'm paying for it now BUT being in a tractor, cutting, teddering hay getting in ready to roll was a dream! I loved every minute of it!!! After 6 back surgeries (2 fusions, 1 cage, lots of plates and pins) plus a neck fusion I finally had to hang it up BUT I still live on my farm and LOVE my tractor. Can't take the country out of a cowgirl or cowgirl out of the country Lol. I'm really glad you started making videos. I've watched all of them and it sure brings back great memories!! I lost my daddy and my only son so watching some of these really hit home for me. Hang in there kiddo and please be safe!!

I really miss farming. Growing up in Ohio as a kid until high school I farmed. Crops ,cattle, horses, baling hay and raising rabbits, chickens and any other orphaned animals that came along. I've raised deer and a raccoon from little to adulthood. Our farm was a special place. It's a giant neighborhood now. Central Ohio blew up with development, houses buildings and businesses. The American farmers are special people, God bless y'all. Love from Onalaska, Texas.

Hi Erin. I came here for Roscoe, and then couldn't stop binge-watching for the deep dive into what life is for a (typical?) grain farmer during the harvest, thank you very much for allowing us to hitch a ride along. (ok, those big brown eyes of yours might have had something to do with it as well). It's all super interesting , and the degree of responsibility every little action carries in that environment makes me shudder. Kudos and thanks again.
Still... I'm in love with Roscoe. I imagine raccoons are pretty common around those parts but we don't have them here in Oz, and I find them fascinating (and viceversa, I bet if you came over to the east coast of Australia and saw, for example, the ebullient antics of a gang of Sulfur Crested Cockatoos you might freak out a little. I guess I'm trying to say that we often don't fully appreciate things we are familiar with...?) .
They seem to be (behavior-wise) somewhere between a cat and a dog, I believe they are pretty smart (hell, they rob banks in California...), but the thing I can't get over is how much those paws look like hands and how dexterous they are with them. I was extremely jealous when I saw that original vlog where he was riding on your shoulder while trying to steal some grapes 🦝 (scratches and all). 🙏
