i hope so much that eskimo callboy will make it to the eurovision song contest, not because i think they have a chance with all the schlager and pop, but just because it would be so much fun.
I need to look into Eurovision.
@@ThunderRooster If you do, then check out the performance of Finnish band Lordi from 2004 or 2005, among all the sleezy pop songs they jumped out in full monster costumes, shocked everyone, and won the contest 😂😂

God, these guys are so funny. Kevin's whole thing about how he's not using his power but he could at any moment, I love his sense of humor. And for me, it wasn't the addition of the shirt that makes the trainer look so different, it was the absence of the mustache. Hello, sailor.

Great! As a native german speaker I can't tell german sounds always angry but you can easily make it sound like that. It depends how you pronounce certain words or even letters (Till Lindemann from Rammstein is a perfect example for it) So Danke for this reaction and see you Pump it soon!
If somebody shouts or growls in any existing language, it will always sound scary, even if you actually recite romantic poetry in this manner just for the laughs of it. Which reminds me that the romanticism as a movement in poetry, music, painting and all possible other arts had been technically invented and most developed in Germany. It's not Germany or Germans' fault that the remaining world thinks that if they learn (if it could even be called learning - more often than not it's just having watched a few more or less accurate II WW war movies where the only German characters are villains) about less than a decade of XXth century from Germany's history and ignore anything and everything that was before and came after, they got the country's history and identity figured out.
I'm saying it as a non-German btw. and I haven't even completed any studies and have only been living in Germany for like 4 years. So I guess there is technically NO EXCUSE for anyone else living in any given country with free access to non-censored internet to keep propagating those incredibly childish and utterly nonsensical stereotype.

@@OstblockLatina I think you're right. Most people just have the old videos of Hitler or Göbbels shouting their hate speeches in mind when they think about German and they instantly associate "angry" with that.

They may not. But their label does. Every video we have done of theirs. Every one.
It sounds angry because of the region they're living in.
There's even some type of dialect in there from the region.
Proper Hochdeutsch (high German - the purest form) doesn't sound that angry.

@@ThunderRooster actually my native german dialect is influenced by frensh , so it is more like singing than speaking. So germany has many dialects, and saying that german sounds harsh is just a sterotype cause most non native speakers only know german from the movies or speaches out of WWII documentaries, and those speaches ment to sound aggressive :)
and they are making sport, i guess every team in any sport in every language sounds angry when they are pumping :)
For what it's worth, I love the way German sounds. I live in a touristy US town and whenever there are people speaking German nearby, I'll try to look inconspicuous while eavesdropping. On the other hand, my boyfriend used to watch a show that was half French half English and after 45 minutes of listening to French (on and off, it alternated between the two languages), I would be ready to scream. The French are like, "oh, our language is so beautiful," and I'm like, "hey, take that shit outside."
