FLUKE T110 Voltage Tester Recall part 2: checking out the replacement

- A follow-up from the video last month about my recalled FLUKE T110 voltage tester. I received the replacement but whatever improvement FLUKE did, I can't find any obvious change. In the video I am running the replacement unit through a couple of tests to check that everything still works as it should (it does).
Part1 of the video showing the recalled unit is here:
• FLUKE T110 Voltage Tes...
First class video and clear explanations and demonstration. I found this very helpful indeed.
Excellent video and tutorial - thanks!
0:35 - 0:55 Whatever changes they did make, this range looks better built than the T-120 I bought years ago. The lead would always break at the point it meets the body. There's no need for the LCD for testing for live voltage, so I'd just go for the T-110.
Hi bitTorrenter,
I agree, that is why I chose the T-110 model over the one with the LCD. The problem with the lead breaking was, if I remember correctly, one of the reasons for the recall. I had mine not long enough for this to happen before they recalled and replaced it. So far, no problems with it.
T110 is my choice too
is there a voltage phase tester that tells you also what phase is it like Ph-A, Ph-B, or Ph-C?
There is the KAIWEETS ST120 that has non-contact phase detection ABC. I reviewed it ua-cam.com/video/2XAa2By9Xg8/v-deo.html but I never got that phase detection to work for me, in all fairness, probably because my "simulated" 3-phase was not very good (I don't have 3-phase at home)
Great video and info
Thank you 🙂
