    This middle school kid is going to be good one day. You can tell just by how mature he is for his age. Good stuff.

    I won my first wrestling match with the first single leg set up , the wrest and bicep pull is extremely useful , it worked for me a total of 3 times in my match

    New wrestler, but does this work if I’m lefty or am I open to getting countered easier ?

    • @chcknpie04
      @chcknpie04 2 роки тому +1

      If you’re a lefty, you’re going to want to attach their right leg, setting up by dragging their right arm.

    Am I the only one who is skeptical on this finish? Setup is superb, but the finish is strange. Trying it tomorrow to see how it feels.

    Mongol Grip 🤷‍♂️ unorthodox, creative, and I don’t see a clear defensive neutralizer of it.
    Guess they could look to steal your cross wrist tie but that would mean their offense would have to go back into the side your single leg is going to be on and they’d feed themselves into it.
    Next option would be to drag off your cross wrist resulting in the same issue as before with them feeding your offense.
    Simply them trying to square back is an opening for cross body ankle pick or cross knee tap etc etc.
    It’s not bullet proof and your timing has to be on point and so does catching that cross wrist otherwise you opened up your entire trail side for them to attack but if you practice this and save it for the next time you get into a real technical stand off with another good technical wrestler then you at least have one last bullet to fire that could make the difference

    You’ll be faster if you don’t drag your trail leg foot on the mat. I can hear it from a mile away CHAMP. Just sayin.

      Lol. Yeah, Timing beats speed if that’s what’s you’er trying to say, but Timing gets better with speed. @@TingusPingus445
