Straw baling XXL | Team Verschoor | 2x Claas Xerion | New extinguishing system Löschtainer by Recker

In this video we take a look at straw harvesting at one of the country's most efficient contractors. Verschoor relies on seven Krone BiGPack HDPII square balers in its fleet. 60,000 to 80,000 square bales are pressed in this way every year. A mammoth task! During our visit, we were also able to accompany the test of the Löschtainer extinguishing system from Brandschutz Recker. A mobile extinguishing system that is particularly suitable for attachment to tractors. We present the device in a practical exercise.

Wonder if the system they are using in the USA with round bales could work with square bales. The system that holds onto bails and drops them near a center line in the field for easier pick up.
