Filippo Inzaghi is an anomaly for me. God only knows how he managed to score so many goals. He doesn't contribute towards build-up play, he is not that quick, he is not technically good on the ball, he doesn't have a trick, he looks as if he couldn't punch his way out of a wet paper bag, he's competent in the air at best and even when he kicks the ball it's not a clean strike with great power. Yet this man has amassed so many goals, played for two Italian giant clubs, won prestigious trophies and won a world cup. Absolutely astonishing. He must have incredible self-belief.
Lol Inzaghi was one of my favourites (partially because he used to frustrate my friends so much 😁 ) - and I can't really argue with what you said about him above - However, I would say his main strengths lay in more intangible skills that a lot of people didn't really give the due respect that they deserved - What he had was intelligence (reading of the game and anticipation), movement and positional sense, great reaction time and decisiveness - so as you said, even if though he may not have always been the the cleanest and most powerful striker of the ball, he always knew what he wanted to do in advance and never hesitated with his shooting, so it would be hard for a keeper to get a 'read' on him and he often caught them out before they had a chance to 'set' themselves properly - that's why he never really had to go for the corners of the goal all the time and would still score lots, even when hitting the ball close to the keeper.
usually he will get 20 offsides on his own in a single game . and one of those 20 , he will escape the offside trap and score a goal 🤣 . i was a milan fan , when he played in juve , i really hate him . but when he joins milan , i really love this guy
The problem is, you're describing the skills of a modern, 2023 center forward. Back in the '90s and '00s the style of play and the characteristics needed from a striker were very different, and having someone complete on every aspect was more a luxury than the norm. With zero opportunities from out of nowhere he could score. The definition of quality CF
Pippo was his own kind of striker. Not so technical, but his positioning was sublime, he could make a bad passer seem like a genius. He was Chicharito before Chicharito in positioning. I can't also forget his wild celebrations, he really loved to score.
"Look, actually he can't play football at all. He's just always in the right position." ~ Johan Cruyff
Remember we used to hate him as kids because it seemed Inzaghi had this indescribable aura of luck, the ball bouncing to him and bouncing into the goal off him; in reality, Cruyff knew what he was talking about.
Probably one of the - if not the - best and most intelligent users of space, movement and anticipation the game has ever seen.
Semua orang tahu bahwa Oliver Khan, Casillas, Buffon, merupakan kiper yang hebat.. tapi cara Super-Pippo mencetak gol, membuat mereka nampak seperti amatir…
Pepe reina pun dibuat sprti baru belajar jadi penjaga gawang🤣🤣🤣
The true definition of ultimate opportunist 😎
Very unique goals. Until now we cannot see goal like that. Super Pippo.
He plays along:
1. Ronaldo R9(Ballon Dor 97 n 2002)
2. Zidane (Ballon Dor 98)
3. Shevchenko (Ballon Dor 2004)
4. Ronaldinho (Ballon Dor 2005)
5. Cannavaro (Ballon Dor 2006)
6. Kaka (Ballon Dor 2007)
Inzaghi is also the only striker who can score goals in all competitions in which clubs from Europe participate
Remember this Legend!
From Liverpool fan.
I can describe him:
He always in offside position, but when his not in offside position the ball always looking for him and the goalkeeper scare about him
He was too lazy as players, really slow and have no power but when he score a goals his celebration always with full power
THAT IS PIPO INZAGHI😭
he destroyed kahn many times
Striker2 masa sekarang perlu belajar seperti Inzaghi punya penempatan yg cermat dan finishing yg tepat yg membungkam striker pemain skilfull seperti zaman skrng
100% Passion. Pippo mio❤️
Seeing all those goals, it wasn't Inzaghi who was looking for the ball, but the ball was looking for Inzaghi..😂😂🤣
Goal no.32 absolutely magic😂🤣
10:20 Shot on Target 1 Goal Scored 2 Only Super Pippo 🥰🥰😍
Giocatore unico , grande giocatore , grande Pippo .
Сколько голевых передач Зидан сделал на Инзаги
Great positioning, ball controll, and finishing
De todos atacantes italianos, o INZAGHI é o meu favorito ❤🖤
Zidane,Rui Costa, Pirlo, kaka' give him amazing service.
Yeah, he played with some of the best, but he was already a top scorer of Serie A before he played with any of them.
You forget Delpiero
N Seedorf 😂
There is a character similar to his style of play in a anime called blue lock his name Yoichi Isagi, the main protagonist
inzaghi is inzaghi...
this man is different...
one of the best attacker... ✌️✌️✌️
Seria A Champs, Champions League Winner and World Cup Winner he had all
Filippo Inzaghi striker underrated
Inzaghi was blessed with powerful midfield who assisted him with the ball -from zidane, seedorf, pirlo & even david beckham
Inzaghi maestro. Uno de los mejores 9 de la historia.
Of the 46 goals he scored, 45 were scored inside the 16M and that one was the only one he scored on the very edge of the penalty area, 17,18M is not even 20M from the goal. One singular inimitable Pippo Inzaghi
Iconic
I always thought he was physically too fragile to make it as a striker. Obviously I was wrong because Pippo was one of the best finishers in Serie A.
no no... he was one of the best strikers ever
In a time when you risk your beck facing defenders ... He was always there
he getting pass from anything and everything his teammate enemy team even form the goalposts really a lucky guy
Súper Pipo Grande Filipo! ⚽❤️✨
10:50 Bachira assist to Isagi
best finisher of the 2000s
Raul and Henry were better than him
@@cr7gaming654 not even close, Inzaghi was the best finisher of the 2000s. Henry was most complete.
R9
Trezeguet, Shearer, R9, Van nistelrooy???
@@Trybical R9 and inzaghi
the moment when he escaped the offside trap and scored against liverpool was very upsetting moment to me.
despite of that, he is one of the best striker of all time
-Skill : 50
-Dribbling : 35
-Speed : 55
-Acceleration : 56 (90 during goal celebration only)
-Shot power : 70
-Accuracy : 60
-Finishing : 99
El rey Del fuera de juego, siempre en el sitio oportuno Superpippo Inzaghi
8:52 trully inzaghi's goal.. classic number 9
always in the right place, make every posibility become a goal
Such a unique player...it's almost as if each play starts like a PUZZLE...with pieces that calculate every players position and skills, and he assembles said puzzle to end up at the RIGHT SPOT at the RIGHT TIME, every single time. An ADAPTABLE striker who always finds the right spot. Interesting.
you should definitely watch blue lock
super pippo 2 champions league and 1 world cup for this rossoneri legend
This man CONSISTENTLY celebrated every single fluke/tap-in/sharp finish/great header as if he had just scored a worldy! You love to see it!
The era of gods of football. The guy was a perfect Finnisher and had the chance to have great players behind him like zidane del piero and davids
Keren banget pemain Milan dulu gada yg egois buat cetak gol, Inzaghi dimanjakan dgn umpan2 manis, bukan kek pemain2 sekarang masing2 berlomba2 ingin nyetak gol sebanyak2nya sehingga mengesampingkan kerjasama tim.
You didn't realize how many headers he has put in. He was like Cristiano Ronaldo for that 0.5 sec in the air. You also didn't notice he screams like he has no teeth. What a legend.
