Hi I'm in a weird predicament where we bought a house, never got the code for this, haven't used it, and now I am getting low battery beeps, but it won't let me do anything without a code. If I unplug it and open up, to remove the battery, is it going to shut off immediately or beep an aggressive alarm?

I'm sure you've handled this already, but I had the same issue. When I opened up the box, it did NOT beep aggressively. That said, it's also worth noting that unplugging the battery alone won't stop the beeping. I also had to disconnect the wires that were connected to the box through the wall, which requires a super tiny Phillips-head screwdriver. The beeping has been driving me crazy and this video helped me resolve the issue, so thanks @SecurityCentralInc.

Mine is a Honeywell 6150rf. I opened it and there's not battery and I also have no electrical panel either. It's written battery on the panel in the closet and is beeping. I have no idea what to do lol. 😢
