The Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy, which was founded in 1808, originally under the title of “The Missionaries of France (SPM)”. The community was founded for the purpose of re-evangelizing the people of France after the Catholic Faith had been subjected to years of attacks and persecution during the French Revolution. It is now exclusively an American community. The Generalate of the Congregation is located in Auburn, Kentucky. The primary apostolate of the Fathers of Mercy is to conduct parish missions and retreats throughout the United States and other countries when called upon. The congregation also staffs rural parishes in the Archdiocese of Louisville, Kentucky.
What a great sermon Father Joseph Aytona, you spoke very clearly about our goal which is Heaven, the belief in Purgatory, avoid the works of the devil & the damnation of Hell. Confession is our savings grace, what a blessed Parish Mission, thanks for your prayers. I pray that I am on my journey with a relationship with God & to be at the table honoring God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit 🙏 🕊️

It is such a Blessing to see and hear Mass from a Holy Priest's like Fr. Joseph as you can see and feel His Simplicity, Holiness and His Humbleness. He would be the very PERSON I would have for a Spiritual Father. Sadly I am in Florida. Many Divine Graces may Bestrow upon you now and always. 😇🙏

I was fortunate to attend one of your missions in Crystal Lake, ILLINOIS several years ago. It was a great experience and life changing. Highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to draw closer to Our Divine. Lord.

I always find preaching on Hell is neglected its definitely effective, Jesus spoke about Hell more than anyone else in the Bible, he knew the place and knows who would end up there if they don't repent.

The only way to the Father is through His Son Jesus Christ. May God grant you repentance and grace to know Him, and to flee from idolatry.

Thank you, Father Joseph. I wonder if you have a mission in London, UK. I am a mother of 5 adults children who live away from church. Along the way, I work too much and neglected their spiritual life, they did have the baptism and holy communion done when they were children. Now these young people live away from God, the church. My stepson who went to a Catholic college, turns out to be gay. He is 40 now and is getting married with his partner. The whole family is going to attend but I will not, as I don’t appouve this. We need young priests to attract the young generation back to the Faith and to the church. The Devil is winning and taking them☹️
