Hi Trevor. Temperatures range from 20 to -15 depending on altitude, weather and time of day. Crossing over central Iceland was done in 6-7000 feet at -15 degrees + chill factor. We flew in drysuits and where actually pretty comfortable on most of the trip. A more comfortable plane could be the Auto-Gyro Cavalon that offers rotor stability, short take-off/landings, room for luggage, 6 hours endurance, and a warm spacey cockpit.
That was brilliant . . Just watched it through in Full-screen High Definition. It looked cold sometimes , , what was the temperature mostly? You looked well wrapped up !! Which "plane" would have been the most relaxing to be piloting on a trip like that ? I'm guessing the power-hang-glider types were slower on the trip ? It looked great when you do your very short landings, just to put it down in a very small space . . . Thanks for taking the trouble to edit it all and make into a nice feature.

That looks like a fantastic way to see Iceland, and a great experience.

Great tour! My only comment is, why don't you get an autogyro with an enclosed cabin? It makes a huge difference in temperature
great video
