Game just got a step ahead to reality 👌🏻
It is wat it needed , and it’s a step in the right direction. I hope many more loading and discharging locations follow for ownables , I hope someday we see our goosenecks detachable for our lowboys , only to pick / or load our heavy equipment on/off by some rolling crane , same for boats etc …
FINALLY! And it’s all thanks to the upgraded Prism3D engine 😎
I am so looking forward to this feature. A giant leap in realism. Jobs and how they work in ATS/ETS2 has always been a bone of contention for me.
ps I have not played ETS2/ATS since 1.50 beta. I really just want to see an improved game now!
Like farming simulator
this makes me hope that one day you could get out of the truck at a depot and load/unload pallets or stuff yourself, making automated loading paid. that would be so sick
It was about time, when I see truck vlogs, the loading of the trailer is something that feels so important and it is missing in the game. I'm glad to see this improvement :D
i sense eventually we could see forklifts and construction equipment loading animations coming.
Hope ETS2 receives a lot of this too.

It will. But it will take time as well to be deployed in the whole map.
I think it will be included in the next map dlc for ETS2 and slowly being implemented in the base map + Map DLCs
I hope ATS will one day get more simulation features, such as changing oil and coolant (and mechanical damage related to not doing it), tire wear and random tire damage/pops, with need to go to the tire shop and change the tires. Gearbox/driveline damage. Need to warm up the endgine especially in colder areas, otherwise again, mechanical damage. It won't require adding a lot of content, but some code work sure, but that would make gameplay much more interesting.
This is brilliant stuff, I can't wait to try this new feature out, and that Nebraska is ALMOST finished, and I can't wait for the day of the release date!
Should also go for sand and gravel

uoooooh, i can see other trailers getting animations for loading and unloading in the future now...
would be nice seeing a wheel loader loading tipper trailers and giving a toot of the horn to indicate they are done.
yeah... ets2 still has companies way too ancient to permit any type of animations. i'm talkin abt the lumber mills and the farms mainly
For this, the rework must be solved. Italy, France and Germany are still missing. The French side of the Swiss-French border is still old (I'm talking about changing the country with the mutual gas station)

@@gamecart420 Both games use the same engine, and yet ATS seems to be more advanced, more unique prefabs and has more detailed cities compared to ETS2.

Nice to see they finally getting some features that been in farm sim for years lol. Able fill a trailer. I hope they continue on this. Maybe short little videos when have box trailer and shows them loading up with whatever your hauling.
Now they just need continued working on the trucks. Actually proper suspension, proper tire ware, Cus current system is very flawed. How about buy used or new tires, retread options. Truck should able pull inside of shops (Like REAL trucks do) so can get oil change and greasing. Fluids topped up. Should able hire our own personal mechanics at our main hq. They level up, offering more aftermarket parts/upgrade (like stronger turbo/bigger RAD/clutch fan etc)
Would love for proper while spin with back end kicking out if you step on to hard on wet or loose ground roads. (Sand/mud etc) proper weather and rain/thunderstorms. Cus current storms are fairly bad. Ps3 graphics like. They awful atm. Even some low level flooding would be nice also.
Hopefully, this will turn into being responsible for your weight. As it is now,weigh stations are just an inconvenience with no repercussions for anything

Probably no
Its looking great. I think it ll be a lil bit harder to implement this in ETS2, because ETS2 tippers need additional animations, especially unloading the bulk cargo. Amazing feature tho

That’s cool hope they do it with the rest of the other states when carrying gran and so on and hope in time they do that with all the other loads and with low loaders as well we see it being driven off and so on hope there’s a button to press to open the tarp and close it

This is good. We always had these kinds of annimation in Farming Simulator and I did suggest on Twitter this would be an idea for #ETS2 How do they do it: is it just a cut-scene or is it a realistic part of the simulation?

Optimistic, but I think it'll come in mid-late May at the earliest. I guess we'll see if SCS surprises us with an earlier-than-we-thought release.
Didn't the old Trainz simulator have this over a decade ago? They just added TAA after a single modder had it made for months if not years and now this groundbreaking 2000's technology. The map and truck dlc's and rework they are doing is great, but the graphics department (done by different teams) really needs to step up.

Hopefully the game can now recognize each trailer type so you don't deliver tankers and livestock to grocery stores and reverse these incompatible trailers into alley docks, because it makes no sense.

We want a working walkie-talkie We need the rain sensor to say something if it's going to snow or rain or stop raining , listen to voices & weather forecast closed roads & accidents & entering a different speed limit section also driving in and out of tolls weight stations truck stops check points & "incoming Emergency vehicles" on the walkie-talkie, listen to new updates and new DLCs on walkie-talkie in game, military cargo & aslo A DLC of Mexico
hopeful this does get added but who else would want to load car hauler trailers and unload them ?
