Hahaha! It truly was a beautiful hike. We did another crazy 17km hike yesterday but this time it was not planned and we were lost 😬😱 So happy you enjoyed the video!😊

A brilliant walk. Those tea houses are so welcome. The views here are fabulous. We did the walk the opposite way around to you with a few variations but were really impressed with the views. We were in autumn on the last week that the tea houses were open so were able to try the soup at the upper tea house. Really enjoyable. Thanks for taking us on your adventure.

Happy Birthday today here in Oz David 23 August. Aah so beautiful that water, so smooth. Bear spray??? Sarah you walk too fast, slow down. Yeah looks like the wilderness, cliffs and mountains. Beautiful daisies on the way. Good stopover to feel rested. I was wondering what was that noise, that avalanche sounded so loud. Hiking I believe, good mental therapy. BUT not too long 😂7.58 km wow now that’s long in 2 hrs and 36 min. That’s so good .Ooh even beautiful purple flowers, so pretty. 14 Km 😮already it’s expected Sarah you don’t give up that easily, always been that way, that is why today you enjoying your life😃. Soup so nourishing to have after all that working. Figuring it out now, why those toes are blue Sarah, you pushed those feet to its limit. Aah the best just soak those feet 🦶 the best. CONGRATULATIONS 👏 yay Sarah and David did it. 🏆

Wow! That was a great video! Poor Sarah’s feet. Was it the shoes that was the problem? Or that your legs aren’t ready for long hikes? I love putting my feet in freezing water after a long hike, I was disappointed David didn’t go for a refreshing swim 😆

Great video! I did the the tea house hike a few years ago and there was 8 feet of snow near the top and the upper lake was frozen. Such a cool place. Love the Rockies! Safe travels!
