I absolutely love your videos! Detailed and hilarious at the same time. I LOVE YOU❤❤❤😂
Insightful video. What I liked best was that you explained 'when' the flat method should be used and when the set-in method should be used. I obviously prefer the flat method because it's easier and doesn't require the excessive easing that the other method does but I appreciate the clarity on when to use each method.
Wonderful! Thank you so much for your comment, that was also very insightful... always good to know how I can help my audience. Thanks for watching!
@@LTRLtrend I'm a new subscriber. Wondering if you've made any videos on finishing seam allowances with a serger/overlocker. Some people say they should be pressed open and others say they should be serged together and pressed to one side. And then there's confusion about whether seams should be pressed towards the front or back.
@@TaDarling1 thank you so much for the new sub! Very good question... and No, I dont have any vids on serger topics just yet (still kinda a new channel). 😁 I would be happy to clear up some of the confusion... serging is a matter of where the seam will be going, function and what fabrication. For example if you are making a princess seamed bodice, ideally, you would want these seams to lay flat, so this would mean serging separatly and ironing seams open. However, if you are doing something like an easy side seam on a shorts, or a shirt for instance, you can serge together and ALWAYS press towards the BACK (when its at the ss) - if you are pressing darts, you should always press darts facing towards the center front or the center back. You may want to check out my "100% Awesome Darts" video for pressing tips! I will definitely need to add this to the list of vids to make... thanks again for watching! 🙏 Hope this helps.... feel free to add me on insta and connect me with there for more DM's
This is the Best Sleeve tutorial for beginners. So not complicated. That gather using the presser foot is pure gold. You are really funny BTW.
Thank you so so much for your wonderful comment. Learnt that technique ages ago in University... it really does make the gather on the sleeve cap the perfect amount. And thank you... Imao at myself most days. 😂
I just love your bubbly personality.
Thank you so much!
Thanks sooo much for sharing your knowledge!❤️❤️❤️
Love your hair cut! 😍
Thank you 🙏
U r the greatest teacher xx
Thank you so much! You made my day with this comment 🥰 this is what motivates me to keep teaching. Thank you for watching!!
Hi ya!! Thank you for this video!! This is about the tenth video I watched and YOU answered my questions !! Plus, best personality!! THANK YOU!!
Wonderful! So glad I was able to answering your questions... bc, lets face it sewing can be confusing at times and we as teachers need to make it aimple and easy to understand - I dont like learning with all the "fluff" so why would anyone else? Anyways, thanks so much for watching and for the encouragement. Happy Sewing!
Damn girl.. I love your style! xD
I think you deserve to have hundreds of thousands subscribers and views!
Thank you SOOO so much! Hahaha... I am definitely working on building the subscribers and views, but it takes some serious time and hustle to get a YT channel to the "deserving" level. According to my analytics only 10% of the people that view my content are subscribed to the channel. Sooo, if you have a secret on how to get the other 90% to sub... let me know. Hahaha ...Really appreciate you being here and sending me this lovely message. Much love to you!
Helpful video!
I think you need another Cup of Coffee ♡♡ Lol
hello you got me excited I thought you were going to use the older green juki love the videos you are professional you said next episode hemming? Maybe hemming pants?
Hi Frank! Thank you for your comment! Unfortunately the green Juki is not available...but yeah next week we are going to talk about different kind of hemming, also pants. Thank you for watching!
New Subscriber. Does this method applies to all sleeve types?
Wonderful! Thanks for subscribing... very good question!!!
For method #1 (flat) this method is easiest with sleeves that have a drop shoulder (nothing with a tight fitting armhole), best exmaple is a loose fitting jersey or like this dropped shoulder 80's shirt.
Method #2 (eased) is the opposite and best used with tight fitting armholes with a lot of ease at the shoulder cap.
Both of these methods will not apply to anything like a raglan sleeve that has no cap. Hope this makes sense and I was able to help? Best of luck!!! 💖
Thank you,I’m new to sewing a short sleeve shirt. So I’ve been trying to put all pieces together but I’m finding it difficult. I’ve watched so many video tutorials but I still not doing it right. Yes thank you best of luck to me 😊🙏
@@kizzclevi2498 are you using a knit/jersey? If so, best you use the flat method... knit jerseys are forgiving and can be eased and stretched into place. Feel free to add me to instagram @ltrltrend to connect with me there.
