Well where that came from is when she was on CHarlies Angels, she want to suggest more content to the story. I think she wanted more productive freedom. SHe didnt like they they became just pretty ladys in pasties. She wanted better storylines and content so the show could go on longer and they could rotate new angels.They said no and their thing was pretty women are a dime a dozen and they werent as worried about the script. I noticed that in the seasons after Kate left. It became stale and repetitive. I think she would have made a great producer or director.
i've always liked kate jackson inspite of rumors about her being difficult to work with. she has high work standards, which i think make her unpopular and easy to misunderstand. it's good to know she found shelley hack "very nice" when the two met. the two "smart" angels will not tolerate the jiggle. anybody has that clip of the tonight show where kate defended shelley amidst negative feedback directed against the new angel at that time?
no, kate did not meet tanya at the wrap party. kate hated the show so much she wasn't attending any wrap party for the show! kate met tanya in one of those conventions many years later, when tanya asked to be photographed with her. kate met shelley earlier than that, and kate said she found shelley easy to talk to.
I read years ago that Kate Jackson was either gay or bisexual but because she comes from the conservative south, she never even mentioned.. also that back in 1979 she and cher had a lesbian short affair..
There's a lot of gossip about Kate so how do we know what is true and what isn't. Suppose it's true it would be totally understandable that she kept it to herself because yes, she's from the conservative south (but she has always been a liberal). Plus back in the 70s and 80s it would have derailed her career and the focus would have been solely on her being gay or bi. But it might as well not be true and she's straight. We will never know but no matter what I love that woman! Such an amazing actress who has brought so much joy to her many fans.
Any strong woman back in that time was labeled as lesbain. Who cares about her love life? She is a great role model for all little girls, just like Katherine Hepburn was for me. I was raised in the deep southern and had many untrue labels over the years because I'm m a strong-willed woman who can stand on my own two feet. The difference between me and other southern women of my age group is that my oldest brother taught me life lessons, just like he did my other brothers. Those lessons prepared me to handle anything in my life. Life shouldn't be about labels but about treating each other with respect and love.

No matter how many times you keep repeating your lies based on gossip, they won't become any more true. Kate Jackson is a class act! She would never badmouth Cheryl. On the other hand Cheryl complained about Kate (badmouthing her is more apt) in a couple of interviews. Hence the rumors. Ladd is a piece of work and was known as such behind the scenes. But she had dalliances and alliances. You know, producers, writers, you name it. Ladd gives off nasty vibes. But she couldn't fool Kate. And Kate wouldn't take s**t from anyone.
