    The butter aged steak appeared to have more marbling. But, I love the taste of dry aged beef.

    Just funnin' with ya, great video as always.
    I'm always left hoping that after you record a video that you round a corner to find 10-15 friends and family waiting to eat what you have just cooked. You always make more than just the two of you can eat alone, and I love to barbecue as much for the social aspect as for the fact that I love the flavor of barbecue meats.

    The marbling wasn't created by the butter. That cow was better than the one used in the dry aged steak. Good video as always!

    Should have done a control steak not aged with similar marbling to the butter steak, bet it would have tasted nearly the same.

    Looking at the steaks it was not a fair taste test. We have a couple of blind taste test. Using the same piece of meat. No butter won evert time. We still love the butter just use it on cheaper cuts of meat. Nice video.

    Where did you buy the butter dry-aged 🥩? Is it available online?

      Just do it urself.
      Nelt butter to 50-55° C then just soak it by hand. Take butter and poor over the steak and while butter cools down u get the rind on it and its no need for more than a clean spot in ur fridge. Its not like classical dry aging where enviroment and everything need to be under control as you have tge butter that protects it. The butter can be used ir tossed away.
      No issue.
      Look up the buttter dry aged video where the 3 star muchelin chef in Copenhagen show how easy its done.
      Just use gloves when soaked.

    But how much did the butter and herbs cost? I'm sure the cost of the herbs was minimal, but it takes a lot of butter to encase a roast that size....or did you buy it already encased and aged?

    just tried my first dry aged ribeye last night . it was good , but not worth the price . $33 bucks a lb. If I didnt know it was dry aged , I wouldnt have been able to tell. I wouldve just thought it was a tasty steak . to me its kind of a lot of hype . unless youre a sponsored griller like our friend here , Id save your money , and just get a nice regular steak.

    I'm sorry, but those prices are crazy. Approx.$24 lb and $37 lb. I'm sorry but that's downright criminal to charge those prices. I do love your videos though. And I LOVE that leather apron you wear in some of your other videos. That apron is awesome, I want one so bad.
