- Grace, Hulda and Sofia Quebe of The Quebe Sisters Band from Fort Worth, Texas spoke with Santa Clarita journalist Stephen K. Peeples on the Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio backlot on Saturday, April 21, 2012. The sisters and their band had just come off the stage after headlining the annual Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival. Among other things, the ladies talked about their fourth SCCF gig (every other year since 2006), their musical growth since their first visit to Santa Clarita; playing in Scotland; at the Ryman with Marty Stuart; and a preview of songs slated for the third Quebes album. The band is due back in Santa Clarita for the 2014 Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival.

I'm from Wales, Great Britain. I saw a video of these ladies just by chance one evening. They are all absolutely gorgeous and phenomenally talented. If I married a girl even a fraction as pretty and talented as either of these three I would be the happiest person alive.
I've seen them in concert and met them. Very friendly and very talented.

These girls are so talented. Could they be any cuter and more charming in this video clip? They were so nice in person; I met them at cafe 322 in sierra madre a few years ago *sadly they shut down*. I have a weird connection to them, my friend Jane in Austin used to do costume design for Willie & Family where they used to tour as teenagers.
