Very good step by step explanation. I remember i cant do it at all when i first learn LH pizz. However, I took classical guitar lesson for about two years and it just automatically took care of my LH pizz on the violin. I spend more time on the lower strings and the E string will actually became easy,
Congratulations on your channel, I just watched it and it's really cool. It would be nice if you could talk about how to achieve a better sound when doing Left Hand Pizzicato on the A and D strings. Because they usually explain it on the E string. The truth is I have already managed to make a good pizzicato on the E string with any tread combination. of fingers. But when doing it on rope I only manage to get good sound when doing it with the rope without stepping, that is to say, in the air. I would appreciate your help regarding how to locate the hand and elbow or any suggestion to achieve good sound with the fingers stepped on strings A and D
Sorry about that Saketh. I am just realizing that I sent the exact same vid. Here is another video about left hand pizzicato. I'll try to make a video about it. ua-cam.com/video/9BFuP8SK_E0/v-deo.html
Hi Joy, thank you so much for your videos! They are so informative and I understand everything you demonstrate. I learn something new every time! I was wondering if you could talk about your bow. I really like how it sounds and it looks very comfortable in your hands. I've been in search for the perfect bow all my life! But whenever I test bows out in shops, I can never decide if it's the bow for me or not. I feel, for me, bows take more time to get to know and playing a few pieces for a few minutes isn't enough time. Thanks again, Joy!
it's a good video, however, I think you should invest in a small camera you can attach near the end so we can see your fingers. it did however teach me well how to learn this section, as my goal(im 14) is to learn paganini by the end of this year. the 24th caprice.
Great teacher, amazing, uplifting personality and superb technical and emotional talent! Thank you for your amazing videos Joy, you are a true inspiration to any violinist and student :-) Ps: How could I sign up for lessons at your studio?

As a guitarist who just recently learn violin , I only have trouble on my right hand, not really much on my left
I let my brother try my violin, and he plays guitar. His left hand was very good for his first time, can’t say the same about the right.
Very good step by step explanation.
