The game looks great. I hate KS and needing to wait till Sept 2022 to play it.
just wait for retail then. i got over KS and the irresistible ks exclusives, but at the end of the day, retail versions r usually just fine.
A great video as always! Thank you very much!
Is this an upcoming KS campaign. The game looks super interesting.
Yes, launching today at 4pm UK time! 🙂
So, essentialy in about half an hour. :)
@@nithrania-gameinanutshell Thanks !
This game looks amazing!
Question Salvo Time!
* Influence & Income: Just to summarize (hopefully correctly!)
*Your Home: Just Income (if it's not garrisoned by an enemy)
*"Your" Disputed Territory: Just Influence (if you have it garrisoned)
* Not "Your" Disputed Territory: Just income (if you have it garrisoned), but also possibly denying influence from the nations that it does "belong" to
* Neutral Territory: Just Income (if you have it garrisoned)
* Not Your Home: Income AND Influence (if you have it garrisoned)...but the player may go neutral during the next diplomacy phase, which would displace your garrison.
* Battles: What happens in the case of a tie? Is everyone a loser?
* Also Battles: If multiple nations are supporting the same attacker/defender, which plays their card first?
* British Ship Support: Is the capability for the British to support by sea limited to the 3 space rules from movement? Also, can that capability be voluntarily given to a coalition-mate?
Influence & Income: Correct!
Battle Draw: there's no rule in the rulebook for that case, yet. 😊 Still in development I believe.
Battle Cards: again, no ruling yet.
British Ship Support: This counts for all ports, and it's very important because British then MUST (strategically) give some money to coalition partners, otherwise France will have an easy win.
🎉
What is the point of having high moral? You can increase it with money and allowing movement, and it decreases after battle, but what are the benefits of having near 15 moral?
Well, especially to enable movement as per my experience.
Hey Branislav - What weight or complexity scale would you say this game is ?
I would say this is somewhere in the middle of the complexity scale, a medium weight game.
What is the advantage for France?
All other get extra point for beating French armies. Britain can moev by sea and spread money 8and save it between turns).
Does teh French have more armies/higher income/win all ties/geta fre card per battle?
Yes, France has as many as 7 armies. Prussia, Britain and Turkey each have 3 armies. Military strength is France's advantage in this game.
Also not mentioned was that one of France's generals (representing Napoleon) gets 1 free movement action when France is executing leadership (the "blue hat" icon), which helps them react faster to changing board positions. (Especially important early, when almost everyone is your enemy.)
Also, a huge advantage is turn order. France gets the initiative with the first movement phase of the game, whereas England (it's closest "peer" military wise) goes dead last. As a consequence of this, if France takes over a English holding, they will get income & points for it before England gets an opportunity to re-take it. If England takes over a French holding (minus Paris) on the other hand, France will get to respond almost immediately, before England even gets to tax it!
England's position is generally strong, but is at a severe tactical disadvantage to the largest military in the game, which can make that "strength" evaporate very quickly without alliances. Which, it just turns out, is Englands primary strength as all of it's "special abilities" can be shared with coalition members, making the English coalition tempting. (Without this, everyone would likely jump onto Team France leaving England in the dust.)
It looks that the only flaw is wait more than 1 year!
