I bought his first book. To my knowledge the second one still hasn't came out. Living out there for about 30 days really caught my attention.

A well placed 22 does a great job for sure, a cross bow with night vision is another good option.
Losing crossbow bolts at night will get exspensive. I'd at least use ilumin nocks if I did.

i recomend reading 2 books by ragnar benson "survival poaching" and "hard core poaching" abut using cartridge adapters to shoot sub caliber rounds
