Halo Lore: Zuka Zamamee's Hunt For Masterchief

Halo Lore - During the events of Alpha Halo, a Spec Ops Sangheli, Zuka Zamamee would be graced by survival thanks to a grunt named Yapyap after the failed raid on the Pillar Of Autumn. After the attack on the Truth and Reconciliation left scores of Covenant dead and a valuable prisoner liberated, Zuka Zamamee was permitted to hunt down the Spartan who was believed to be the last of his kind, with Yapyap accompanying him every step of the way.

I really liked the Flood book. The parts adapting CE where it tried to translate gameplay into book form weren’t very good (by that I mean it was kind of dumb how it would say stuff like Chief swaps his weapon. He shoots and when it reaches x amount of bullets he reloads. And how he’d occasionally pick up a health pack). Everything else in the book was truly amazing! I’d chalk this up to the fact that like previously mentioned describing the gameplay doesn’t translate well into book form. All of the other parts were really well written. I love the parts where they talked about Keyes and Jenkins experience being infected while they still had their minds intact. The side story talking about Alpha Base was really good. And Zuka and Yayap’s journey together were all really good.
For the Halo show they seriously should have just made a mini series that juggles the plots of CE, The Flood, and Fireteam Raven (either Halo Canon or Xperia has a great video talking about the back story for the different characters. Sadly, since it’s a railshooter all of this cool lore was never even mentioned in the game). They’d obviously need to make small changes here and there to make the story flow better, and tie in the unrelated sections. Assuming it was headed by actually competent people that would be so much better than the dumpster fire we got with Paramount (one thing I find absolutely hilarious is how whenever they show off a cool action scene or include an Easter egg people say that the show is finally getting good and shows promise. The the next episode comes out and proves them all wrong. It’s like how when the Disney Star Wars movies were coming out lots of people would say they’re never watching another Disney Star Wars again. Then a cool trailer comes out and they’re all convinced it’s going to get good).
Do you think that you’ll do any stories that revolve around the Jackals? Sadly, not enough stories center around them.

Its funny you mention about chief using med packs but the one that stuck out to me was "chief slammed a fresh magazine into his MA5B." 😅
In regards to Jackals, in terms of future (I'm admittedly on a hiatus as I'm working a lot right now) I plan to delve into The Kilo 5 trilogy so the Father of Naomi who bought a Covenant Assault Carrier off a Kig Yar etc, maybe the dealings on the Rubble as well.
I do have a video about the first contact between the UNSC and the Covenant. The first aliens encountered were Jackals and Grunts. That video also has sound effects so do check it out.
