Hi, great video. Just curious, you also striped your panniers but where did you buy the material for them? It looks really great and I'm just looking into doing the same with the ones I got.

I ordered this exact wrap from Cyprus after seeing your video, unfortunately it turned out more on a pink shade than red.! Maybe the printer was having a bad day, so buyer beware.

Wet application is the better & easier choice as you need to have flexibility when applying... But thank you 👍

That is what is called an opinion...yet you stated it as fact. As you can see, he just did one wet and one dry and he prefers to apply it dry. You prefer it wet. Clearly there are reasons you like it your way and reasons he likes it his way but neither is correct/better/easier, just a preference.

You mention wrapping your panniers and top case. Can you elaborate? I see they have kits at signature for some panniers, but can a larger kit be used on other brands, maybe with a little scissor work? Were they easier then the tank? (Besides the obvious fact you would not have to remove so many damn screw!)

Hey Dan, I did a custom wrap on the panniers and top box and lined them with a indoor/outdoor thin carpet. I'm planning a video soon to recap how I did it.
Thanks for the question and for watching.

    Looks super sharp!
    Nice work!!
Did you replace or add to your KLR650?!?

iProject - Yes, as you may see in some of my other responses, traded my KLR for a new (2017) GSA. I needed something better suited for 2-up long distance touring, but would also let me go off-road when needed. I'm still a big KLR fan, but only room for one motorcycle.

Hi Tim, thanks for all the instructional vids, I think I've watched them all. I have a 08 klr, I really like the GS 1200, looks great with the wrap! Did you keep your klr? Just wondering. Keep the vids coming, blessing to you!

Will D. - I am making longer trips 2-up and found I needed a bike better suited for that. So, I traded my trusty KLR for the GSA. Only enough room in the stable for one.

Howdy, Tim! How long did the decals take to arrive?

Hi Christian, As I recall, it took about 2 weeks from Cypress to my house in NC.

Tim2Wheels Sweet! I also traded my KLR for a GS adventure after riding 2-up from Denver to Flagstaff for the Overland Expo. Looking forward to riding with you one day! Safe travels.

Whoa a GS? What happened to the KLR? Thanks for all your KLR videos. I've watched em all.

      R. Brent Wells - Hi Brent, I did trade my KLR for a new GSA. I am making longer trips 2-up and found I needed a bike better suited for doing those type of trips. The KLR is a great bike, but the GSA provides more power and larger, more stable platform to longer range 2-up touring. And I can still get dirty when I want :).

Tim after stumbling on your video by mistake I was amazed how much better your Adventure looks. I have a 2015 and ordered a kit similar to yours shortly after watching your video. I've only ever put graphics on my off-road motorcycle and can't remember if I did it wet or dry. It sounds like I should wing it and do a dry application. Do you agree? I'd also like to try some kind of vinyl wrap on the back of my windshield to hopefully make the GPS more readable. I added a sun shade which really didn't do much. Where have you been getting your vinyl from. Thank you for the video!

Dana Russell - Yes I would recommend the dry application. It worked better for me.
For my other vinyl, I have ordered from Amazon and eBay. I recommend good quality vinyl like 3M or Vvivid XPO.
Thanks for the comment and for watching.
