      @@sanmatmatsan Sub only ruleset. 5 minutes, if no sub, overtime rounds. She subbed him w an armbar first up, and then she escaped his. She wins.

    Are kimuras forbidden? This dude would've put and end to this quick if he used one..Sakuraba used that move to kill bjj constantly back in the day..most boys wouldn't ever lose to girls if they used that move..but I have yet to see it

      Only other ones with women in it on this channel I saw were Amanda Holloway vs Sam Holman and Angela Cucchi vs Sydney. Others were all male matches.

    As these matches put same size men and women together . The difference in strength is little . And even the women can be stronger than him as she is a sportsperson if she did heavy gym workout and if the men does less. And women are more flexible which will reduce pain too . But ultimately , the men can outperform her if he use the advantage of his testosterone by training more time in gym and try yoga flexibility plus his normal grappling skills . As women are lower in testosterone, she will not be able to gain fibre or muscle as much as him when they both work in the gym

    This is how you can attract women into this sports. Nice marketing stategy. If these women won't won there are less girls will get into this sports. But business is all about how many people consuming it. If more people consuming than there is more money. Whether it's a product or a skill or a person's time. I wonder why suddenly every sports is promoting women's sports now. The market get saturated in men's sport and they need more money. But this sport is one step ahead of all and portraying men as weak. Keep it up.

    Overtime in a BJJ tournament? I thought the tournaments are based on the players scoring points based on dominant control and sweeps.
    If i was dude Id propose to her for sake of concealing the story of getting embarrassingly worked by some random woman. Hopefully she accepts lol

      @@codesVia I understand this is a specific set of rules but it kinda takes away from the true element of Jiu Jitsu and the true element of fighting or self defence. We should be teaching women how to get into dominate positions to set up submission. John Danaher arguably the greatest Jiu Jitsu coach speak out against this nature of implementing so many rules to water down the martial art into a sport.

      Except that he didn’t. She survived and he couldn’t finish her despite a significant strength advantage. She escaped all of his submission attempts and then beat him with an armbar.
