That is a dam shame. Adults and parents trust their children when they sign their child up with the marching band. Because of this terrible person, i hope his actions dont affect children from joing the marching band and other band events. Please dont let that man ruin your dreams of playing an instrument and possibly making a career out of it. Dont let anyone hold you back from anything. It is just sad that there are people everywhere that need help and prayers but its always at the wrong time. They do stupid things to ruin their lives. Their families lives and the childs life and her families lives.
They should get the assistant band director to leadbthe band, and get their staff together for upcoming practice season. The other instructors can all pitchnin to help make this a successful year for the band. good luck. Glen
There have been plenty of incidents probably before this and those kids did not speak up. There’s a reason for that. The reason is they were benefiting from whatever this band the guy did. It happens often.
